There may have been some cocaine involved.

https://www.gunsandammo.com/editorial/department-of-defense-chooses-hornady-65-creedmoor-ammo/375762 As a recent adopter of the 6.5 CM round I think this is pretty cool. I really think it’s going to eat into the .308’s market share in a serious way.

I have a little plastic tool expressly purpose built for changing blades. If yours uses the piranta style blades, this is likely exactly what you need. https://www.havalon.com/blade-remover-4-pk-in-clam

I’ve got a Havalon multitool that uses the scalpel and saw blades. I’m pretty sure that someone with a steadier hand than I can use it to split dermal layers if they wanted to.

Or probably even to say out loud in advance. Words like “premeditation” start getting thrown around.

I to highly recommend you involve local law-enforcement post haste. The blunt truth is that this is the kind of story that often ends with news reports of somebody getting shot. If there’s any shooting going on, I’d really rather have the cops be the one to do it. It’s a lot less likely to cost you your life savings and freedom.

No, but I’ve been waiting on the PSA MP5 clone for like 3 years now. They have a habit of dropping news about upcoming projects with overly ambitious release dates. It’ll eventually come.

Which brings us full circle to btq6r’s talk of making offshore production punitively non-viable through the tax code.

The folks here doing the most grumbling about the razor thin margins of JIT are mostly in the logistics sector pointing out the weaknesses we see in it while acknowledging the benefits it holds for short term profitability. It shouldn’t be a zero sum game, but prioritizing quarterly profits over longer term financial health has made it such.

I got my hair cut yesterday here in Dyersburg. Feels so good.

The bolded portion is the money quote here folks. Our supply chain is built on a Just In Time logistics model. It is wholly inadequate to handle sudden surges in demand or interruptions due to acts of God. There aren’t warehouses to hold supplies of stuff, the warehouse have just enough room in them to hold a few days to a week’s worth of stock. We get taught this lesson every time there is a natural disaster of any type, but just as soon as we clean up the mess and get caught up, we ignore the lessons we learned and go back to business as normal.
-
Yup. We were forced to deal with our messes openly in a way they never were. I believe that allowed us to make a lot more progress on dealing with those issues. The northern cities didn’t go through that as much as therefore are still highly segregated and the amount of casual racism that can show itself is frankly quite shocking at times.

When one understands the relationship between gun control and the black codes, this isn’t so surprising. Of course while we may have some holdovers from our less than racially sensitive pasts, if you listen to the arguments being made for gun control by Yankees up north and squint, their clothes seem to get a whole lot whiter and flow-y, to the point of being almost robe-like.

How to legally transport guns to a shooting range?
Chucktshoes replied to CaliGirl's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
No special rules. Load up your gear in your vehicle, go to the range, have fun and return. That simple. -
As of now I pay more in just road and fuel taxes on an annual basis than the median income in this country. Now, I earn my living on these roads in a vehicle that is harder on them then your average four wheeler. I don’t mind contributing more to their upkeep. I do take issue with the manner in which that financing of the roadways is managed and how much is siphoned off by useless bureaucrats. I will return to Greg’s question of what is reasonable? “That’s up to society to decide“ is a dodge. So, what percentage of a persons income do you consider to be a reasonable percentage for taxation? What’s the number?

Tp put it another way, if slavery is equivalent to a tax rate of 100%, at what percentage is it not?

Gives a whole new meaning to “peep sights”.
