Maybe, maybe not. Statistical likelihood and Lord willing, I will never find out. That doesn’t stop me from training and preparing for that moment. I’m not willing to have already given up beforehand if that moment comes. I take the steps that I find reasonable, you do you.

I feel like this is a point where I should throw out the primary reason for carrying a single spare mag isn’t for a lengthy gun fight, but to fix malfunctions.

It’s amazing what now lives in our pockets these days, isn’t it?

I haven’t had cable tv in well over a decade. No Hallmark Channel means no Hallmark Channel movies.

This thread will never die. I’m totally here for that -
I don’t really think so. Glock’s crappy plastic sights are a long-standing beef that even many of their most ardent fans have with them. As far as using the sights as the fulcrum point to chamber a round when doing a one handed mag change, that’s a pretty bog standard technique taught by most trainers. It’s the reason damn near everyone recommends changing out the OEMs on any Glock intended for defensive use. Other manufacturers’ sights can experience the same failure point, and there are plenty of pics on the net to prove it. I just like to pick on Glock’s crappy plastic sights because, well, they’re dumb.

Congress long ago abdicated its role in governance. -
Use your belt to rack a Glock with oem sights a few times and you’ll find out.

Didn’t catch this when you first posted it. You are correct, hence the reason I was enquiring. Some things that happen in a POV are treated the same as everyone else, but the points do carry over. Also, things like a a DUI have grave consequences for the CDL. On the flip side, some things that occur in a CMV (like weight or other CMV specific violations) have no affect on the regular portion of the license. I exist simultaneously in two worlds.

In all of those listed, as with California, I would agree only inasmuch as they all contain specific cities which are the problem. Chicago is a hole, but Effingham, Mount Vernon, or the multitude of cities not in Chiraq metro, not so much. Same goes for Cali, WA, OR and believe it or not, even NJ. Keep that in mind as Nashville, Memphis, Knoxville, and Chattanooga drive us over the edge to get lumped into the same category as all the states you listed.

I’m glad to see that they created a locking tail cap. I have a Warrior X and the magnetic only attachment of the tape switch made it wholly unsuited to weapon mounting.

Turns out it’s 55-9-402 and it’s a class C misdemeanor. So, $50 fine. I’m not saying I would engage in any such activity, but if I knew anybody that would (only on nearly deserted, very rural roads) it would be a decent idea to know the possible consequences. But yeah, I totally just dropped a massive chunk of change on a NVG setup.

Can’t seem to find the first one in the TCA so that is probably a good thing for a large chunk of the population. I have driven through every major city in the state ya know. There would be a lot of people in a whole lot of trouble if it really was an offense. The second isn’t a moving violation so who cares.

Yes. Seriously. I love the Mall of America. They even have truck parking. It’s located in a suburb and one that I would expect to be less understanding of shenanigans considering the high number of tourist dollars. That said, if it’s wild like the city, I’d be best to avoid it. Nah mean? So yeah, it was a serious question. Why wouldn’t it be?
