I have a friend of mine that has two Bersa 380's and loves them. His wife confiscated his first one and so he had to go get another one. The ammo he shoots is Hornaday Critical defense which he got through Cabelas. Don't know what he paid for it but he has never had a misfeed or any other problem.

Mariner, I recommend a fishing hook, fishing line, a couple asperin, one bullet, some type of fire starter (matches) a pen knife. I had to take a survival class when I was up in Maine and we had to put together a little survival kit like you mentioned. I still have it. Hope this helps.
