  1. Crown Royal Reserve is a legitimately good sipping whisky. Went through several bottles of it last time I was in Hawaii, of all places, as it was readily available and reasonably priced.
  2. Bumpity bumpity. When's the party?
  3. Both of mine are the 10mm DS. The Rock Ultra HC is the base model and the overall quality is mediocre. Mine had minor imperfections in the feed ramp of the barrel that needed clean up and whatever coating they use gets scratched just by looking at it. The TAC Ultra HC is a huge improvement all around. Better coating, better machine work, better quality all around. As far as performance, I haven't gotten around to shooting it yet so the jury is still out there but she looks like she means business. Unlike when they came out, their prices have come down and have a pretty modest difference between them ($545.17 vs $617.58) so for the extra $72.39, I'd get the TAC Ultra HC and not look back.
  4. Online I'm seeing uncleaned brass as low as 12 cents per.
  5. All the ones I've come across have flaws out of the box but after a little love, they can be made reliable. Nothing really any different than any other budget 1911.
  6. Speaking of 10mm, I've been carrying a G29 for a while but even 10+1 of God's caliber doesn't seem like enough seed capacity if a situation goes that sideways. Pearce has the +2 extensions but you are so close to a full size frame at that point, might as well go big or go home. There are a bunch of carry sized 2011s out there like the Bul Armory Ultralight because not everyone has SFX9 money.
  7. The serialized part, in your case a stripped (assuming AR15) lower, is considered a firearm by the ATF. USPS is a federal entity so you have look at federal law in this situation. That's why FTF is the preferred way to transact in-state as there is no federal involvement in that method. It's very possible you could ship it and never get caught but is the risk worth it?
  8. Count me in. Let's do this!
  9. Probably want to clarify it's in 45AARP. I wanted it up until the point I realized it's not 10mm.
  10. Doesn't look like the venue is all that big. Google Maps view
  11. Ruger American 8322. They are discontinued but you can still find them new out in the wild. Found one for $475 all in. Takes BX-15 magnum mags.
  12. Blazer Aluminum 10mm 200gr No sales tax, free shipping on orders over $300
  13. Bumping this to see if anyone has had any success using the information posted in this thread.
  14. I got 1k rounds to my front door for $333. Now I only buy retail ammo when they are small, independent shops that I want to succeed.
  15. Giving your all during rehab is crucial. A buddy of mine had some facial paralysis show up after his triple bypass surgery. 3 months of dedication in recovery and a fair bit of luck and the paralysis was practically gone. 12 years on he's got other issues related to pushing 80 but his ticker ain't one of them.
  16. So much less liability if you smoke an MFer than bludgeon them and allow them to live. This is simply the reality of modern law and how it is interpreted.
