  1. I get that retail space isn't always easy to come by but it continues to amaze me how many gun stores are in traditional retail spaces with large panes of glass at the front that, even with security screens, are easily compromised. Especially being in the firearms business, security should be a higher priority. Security complacency is rampant all over many sectors and all it takes is one incident and when that complacency is visually obvious, it makes you a more likely target.
  2. The ATF trick is a hail mary. If the valvetrain is smoked, no snake oil is going to fix the problem. If you go forward with throwing ATF in, you only need to warm it up and drive a couple miles to see if anything changes. Also be prepared to change the oil immediately, if by some miracle it clears it up. The drop in viscosity from the ATF isn't good for the motor long term.
  3. Making these in a 43/x is kinda silly since it's a micro carry size. If you peek for a split second, everyone's eyes will be fixated on it. If it were a 19, you could use as a "look at me" piece at the range. Also, if it were a 19, we'd be making a deal. Big fan of orange.
  4. Depends. If you made it yourself, i.e. reloads, and sold it without having the appropriate FFL, like a FFL 06, then yes it is illegal. If you sell ammo manufactured by a reputable company with the appropriate FFL, it's legal.....for now.
  5. They will be armed enough to perform a third world coup. Switch datacenters have gov't contracts out the wazoo. They hire ex-military for security staff and outfit them accordingly. AR15s, shotguns, body armor, riot shields, Humvees, etc, etc. They have express permission from Uncle Sam to take fuel, at gunpoint if needed, to keep their generators running in the event they lose power. Those boys love making that known to those of us that go through their security clearance briefing to gain access to a particular site. Knowing ole Musky, xAI will have gov't contracts and be afforded similar liberties.
  6. Refer to Step 1
  7. No warrant, no talkie. Plain and simple.
  8. As long as we are on the same vein of country in modern music...
  9. I've got plenty of 9mm and 10mm to trade with but the distance may be a bit much
  10. 30-30 shooters: 75cpr new ammo Sellier & Bellot .30-30 Win CASE 150 Grain Soft Point – 500 Rounds (CASE) [NO TAX outside Texas] $374.95 - Free Shipping on orders over $199
  11. If in doubt, you can always start with this and see how it goes
  12. Now don't go having any premature expectations. It's quite possible you'll end up like my father....disappointed.
  13. Just so long it's in God's caliber rather than 45AARP
  14. The subcompact version makes for a great pocket pistol
  15. Both. The correct answer is both.
  16. I'll be keeping my eye out for one of y'all to show up like this
  17. Being into firearms and being effective at protecting yourself with firearms are two distinctly different disciplines. AI developers and data scientists are pretty deep into the autism spectrum. They are on another level compared to garden variety IT people. If there is interest, they collect firearms like Warhammer 40K figurines.
  18. I'm 50/50 on if it's more of a liability than an asset. Along with Oak Ridge, Barrett, Beretta, S&W, etc, we're already a target. If the site goes full Skynet, we'll have to flood it with Mountain Dew, just to make sure. Curious to know if they build the structure with an integrated faraday cage, considering the state the world currently.
  19. Those nerds better harden the F up and get carry permits.
  20. Find the Oliver Anthony lookalike and you'll be in the right spot
