  1. They make them carry sized these days
  2. You are way overthinking this. Assuming your home is wired correctly (i.e. correct gauge for specific load rating on said circuit), the breaker will trip when overloaded. Plain and simple.
  3. Dictator Sisolak was what happened. He was basically a skin suit for Gavin Newsom as there was a lot of California emulation at the time. This was when "ghost" guns were a hot topic for the commies so they did everything in their power to snuff them out. Much of the backroom legislature they jammed through eventually got thrown out by the courts but that takes time. There was a time in 2021-2022 that if you were in possession of an incomplete 80% lower, it was a felony in Nevada. I was already on the way out so I took my chunks of alloy and polymer to freer parts of the country. Supposedly Lombardo has been an improvement in many ways but the California culture shift continues as more of them relocate to the Silver State.
  4. If you really want to get pedantic, you could run each printer through its paces using a Kill A Watt to measure real world output of the devices to put your mind at ease. Kill A Watt
  5. It's more likely a 20A circuit. 15A is only supposed to be for lighting. If you only print on one printer at a time, you should be fine. 80% rules says 20 amps x 120V x .8 = 1920w is safe peak.
  6. This is partially why I left NV (home state of P80). On top of all that, the State of Nevada kept fabricating new law behind closed doors to purposely cripple P80 and criminalize their resident customers. While the pro 2A community have been winning some battles along the way, the war against the community will never stop.
  7. Kinda figured, based on the wording. This is a prime case of "some things are better left unsaid".
  8. Instead of attempting to resurrect a zombie thread, I figured I'd start a new one to ask from the wisdom from past and present SCAR owners. I picked up a lightly used, 100% factory SCAR 17S FDE for a reasonable price that is in transit. Geissele Super SCAR trigger seems like a good start. Possibly a better handguard. Any suggestions/tips/tricks on upgrades/tweaks/etc?
  9. The market is flipping. New prices are dropping but used seems to be holding strong, if not going up in some cases. I routinely see people buying used or near new lever actions at auction for more than retail. Appears there are plenty of doom spenders still out there throwing money around like its 2020. At the pace things are going, there will be some really good deals popping up, new and used, come this holiday season.
  10. "Mass shooting at ghost gun dealer shakes minority neighborhood. Film at 11."
  11. Just get a Herman Miller Aeron in XL (Size C as they call it) and be done with it. Have you actually sat in a size C? Size B is likely too small. My buddy who is 5'10", about 330lbs practically lives in that chair and has for several years now. Size B would be like trying to stuff 10lbs of #### in a 5lb bag.
  12. Just picked up these two semi-autos in 22 WMR. The S&W runs well with particular ammo, I imagine the Magnum Research will be similar in its pickyness.
  13. Marlin 336 Classic
  14. Don't throw stones in glass houses and, maybe, the truth won't cut so deep.
  15. There's a reason you are the forgotten generation. Y'all are basically the same.
  16. I got a spare 50 cal bolt action I'd be willing to let go
  17. When I first joined up TGO, I tried my level best to not blanketly label the majority of the user base as a bunch of stereotypical Boomers but when I see posts like this, I have a very difficult time thinking otherwise.
  18. I always found it ironic that the 2A crowd absolutely tramples all over the 1A. There would be a lot less drama and micro punditry but most people wouldn't know what to do with themselves.
  19. This says more than any direct reply ever would
  20. I keep hearing about this need for like-minded people to align but it always seems to begin and end as text on the internet. It takes genuine effort to build relationships which most people don't seem to be serious enough to care to put in. Kinda sad that it has become a form of a virtue signal but I digress.
  21. Who is this dude looking like he is short a chromosome?
  22. Gonna need F15s and nukes too
  23. The chaos in this topic is quite enlightening. It comes off like a snapshot of the overall state of our country. God help us all.
