  1. Thank you for the clarification.
  2. Approximately 350 pounds. Bigger than a Whitetail deer and smaller than a moose.
  3. If #1 and #2 are sold, what's left?
  4. You say moose and halibut, and I say caribou and salmon. Ling Cod too. Actually, they are all very good. I miss my dedicated freezer which was usually pretty full.
  5. Selling 75 rounds (3 boxes of 25 each) of 12 Gauge 2 3/4 inch shotgun ammunition. #4 shot, 1 /14 oz. load, 1220 fps. Herter's is Cabela's "House Brand," and is most often manufactured by either Winchester or Federal. $40 ($0.53 cents per round. Local pick up in Clarksville only. Turkey season starts April 12!
  6. Selling this New in Box H&R (Harrington & Richardson) M16A2 (Semi-Auto). I wanted the rifle I carried as a junior commissioned officer in the US Army, but it's 40 years later, and now it is much too heavy for me. Detached rotator cuffs and arthritis are no fun. Both the upper and the lower were sold as "Blemished." The only blemish I can see is a very tiny dent on the base of the carry handle, right above the ejection port. I have included a photo of this. I bought the upper and lower separately, and they both have their own box. I have not fired this rifle. Includes one 30 round aluminum Duramag. $1100 OBO. Not interested in any trades. 7. Thank you. To me, caribou tastes better than moose.
  8. I lived in Alaska for fourteen years and thought I could spend the rest of my life there, but my wife had other plans. In 2005, I was teaching school in a remote Native Alaskan village called Eek (means "two eyes in Yupik." In early January 2005, I took this three-year-old male caribou with one shot from about 100 yards with my Yugo M59/66 SKA with open sights. He was at a slow trot. The round hit him in the neck, and he dropped instantly and broke his antlers off, I ate a lot of caribou over the next five months.
  9. The stock market does not trade on fundamentals. It trades on sentiment. For the past several years, sentiment, fueled by an endless money printing by the Federal Reserve, has been wildly optimistic. That is why, even after last week's small haircut, the S&P 500 still maintains a P/E ratio over 25. This indicates the stock market is seriously overbought. Will sentiment change in the extreme to the negative? Will we have a "crash" caused by a "panic" and enter true bear market territory? Who knows? Tomorrow may be a wild rollercoaster of a ride. Or maybe not. Better buckle up.
  10. Friday, April 4, 2025. SP500 S&P 500 5074.08 -322.44 -5.97 The falling knife is falling faster.
