Good morning,
I was a member of TGO many years ago (started 2005 I believe). I was also a member of Tennesspeed.net and SVTOA Nashville and while both of those great groups aren't around anymore, I am still into automobiles and have moved into a regular attendee and Treasurer of our local Autocross Racing group. I say all that because I am sure a few of you love your automobiles and also may remember those days of Tennesspeed and SVTOA.
Since then, lots of life occurred, media formats change, and new distractions keep you away from things you once did. I am fatigued with modern forms of media (Facebook, TikTok) and have decided to go back to forums for my information where I learned so much once upon a time. I have grown tired of the format of modern media and truly missed the UI of forum-based media platforms.
As we get older, we learn what is most important to us. There are indicators of things going sideways and when they do it will happen fast (they are already sideways, I mean like uncontrollably sideways). I am a firm believer in three sayings. "If you fail to plan, plan to fail", "An ounce of prevention if worth a pound of cure", and the ever popular "Carpe Diem". These are typically in corporate HR waiting rooms and the walls of many leaders, but there is a reason they ring true.
Thanks,
Ron
