So I took the plunge after fondling the Springfield and the girsan yesterday evening and again this morning I decided the Springer while nice wasn't worth the extra 2 to $300 for me not today so I bought an MC P35 I've only put about 50 rounds through it It shoots to the point of aim mind you I was firing at a target only 30 ft away but so far for about five out the door not too bad

The reasons I steer people to a small revolver are It's easy to operate Unless it's a rimfire they are usually easy to empty the spent casings from It's generally point and pull the trigger in the event of an ammunition malfunction instead of a rack to clear you pull the trigger again and move on to the next round I seem to run into most of these people when I am at the range and it's usually too late they have already made a purchase Thankfully none of the inexperienced have shown up with a 500 Smith & Wesson yet Most of these people are looking to carry what they have so when I see them show up with an LCP which is really snappy and tiny or a Glock 19 another one without a safety and they have no training I wonder if they're going to shoot themselves before they get to use it for defense I'm not a fan of Glock in their safe action trigger for first-timers You never hear of anybody getting Smith & Wesson revolver leg or double single action Beretta leg but Glock leg is a big thing

The new FN they had was railed and about $950 before any kind of negotiation which put it out of the running for me Maybe some folks that bought a basic version like the two I am considering can appreciate the FN with its rail and I'm sure other upgrades

The range that I shoot at also sells firearms I understand they can't follow people down to the range with each sale but I sure wish they could provide 30 minutes to an hour of instruction complimentary with every fire arm purchase There are an awful lot of people buying firearms that don't know how to operate them let alone the ramifications with concealed carry A Ruger LCP is a great extra or concealed carry for someone familiar with firearms but I don't think it's a good recommendation for someone that's never owned a pistol Yet there was a woman at the range with one and unfortunately no training whatsoever They are snappy and can be hard to hold but it was their recommendation to her I'm not trying to knock the place I know they're just trying to sell firearms and well not the worst thing they could have sold her definitely not the best in my opinion

I know what my recommendations have been and my reasoning for it to people unfamiliar with firearms first time shooters etc I'm wondering what everyone else thinks on this subject I've got to talk to a lot of people lately first time shooters people with just a little experience looking for something to conceal carry Me personally I tell just about every one of them a 38 revolver is a really good place to start

That's a pretty good deal Hoping I can talk my local gun seller into that or less cash I guess we'll see tomorrow It's kind of a tough choice between the Springer and the girsan It would be easier if I was able to shoot them both

They had a new FN high power with a 17 round mag we did notice that the FN and Springfield mags would not interchange but the gersan and Springfield mags will This is voice to text I see it wants to spell gerson different every time lol It seemed like the mags may interchange if you would move the mag release to the other side but the top of it was just a little bit different on the FN just in case anybody wanted to know any of that

So I took my old wheel gun collection and my Beretta to the range today on the way out I get to looking they've got a Springfield SA 35 and a girsan mc35 I put them both in my hand The Springfield was a natural pointer when I brought it up for me may have been the thicker grips The girsan for some reason hit me more like a Glock 19 where I was having to pull the front of the gun up probably the grips because it looked like the exact same angle as the Springer So I'm going to purchase one of them tomorrow that gives me tonight to think about it

I will do that appreciate it

Mig with gas is better ,cleaner and easier to use .If you have a choice gas shield is the way to go That being said I use flux core wire no gas currently It works but clean welds are not as easy to make but
-
Buy an inexpensive MIG welder and just head to it Watch a few videos pick up a few tricks and before you know it you'll be able to make decent functional welds I mean there's a lot that goes into welding anything specialty but just standard mild steel you'll be good to go it's a place to start 5 or 600 bucks and you'd be in the door with a decent welder
