Astra came into the picture later I believe, with the colt junior. I think this 1908 predates the astra involvement. Right?

How do I soften a hard leather holster ?

I have also heard that ballistol is good to protect leather. -
General rule for me is metal > plastic/polymer. No experience with polymer ar-15 lower though.

Okay, so the ones that are not engraved are just the ones people ordered and did not pay extra to have them factory engraved. That makes sense.

Apparently there was a “grade” offered that had no engraving on the receiver, if I have researched correctly.

I know that some A5’s were not engraved. I wonder if all magnum A5’s were though. Always wondered why some are and some aren’t.
