  1. My wife and I went hunting for a new pistol for her at the gunshow today. She took a hard took at the Taurus 709 slim 9mm as well as the .380 Taurus TCP. We ended up finding a nice slightly used Kahr PM40. Its significantly smaller than the 709 but the grip was large enough that she could get all her fingers on the grip (unlike the TCP and Keltecs) After going to the range, I feel like we made a good choice. Her other pistol is a Taurus revolver so we aren't brand haters but I just feel a little better about the Kahr than a Taurus semi-auto due to reviews and opinions about the reputation of the two companies I've read over the last couple days.
  2. Yeah... you were supposed to have all firearms unloaded with a ziptie down the barrel. The door says no concealed carry
  3. I just got back from the Agricenter... its alot like the show two weeks ago. It wasn't as busy when I first arrived at 10:00 but was starting to get too crowded by the time I left at noon. There were tons of knives, and a few tables with new handguns. Of course there are the guys with the WWI and WWII stuff. The thing I came home wanting was a Saiga 20 round 12 gauge - wish I had an extra $1300 laying around

    .40 PPS Walther

It is a polymer trigger and has the trigger safety like a glock. I'm unfamiliar with any serrations that a glock has but the PPS' is smooth.

    .40 PPS Walther

I got a PPS .40 about a month and a half ago and I absolutely love it. So far, I have about 600 rounds through it and I like it better every time I go to the range. It is extremely light, extremely comfortable, and extremely accurate. The sight is excellent and the craftsmanship seems first rate. The PPS has taken over as my summer carry from my Sig P239. My only complaint is that I have trouble ejecting an unfired cartridge by cycling the slide. It sometimes get hung up.
