Hello Chattanooga locals. I am new to the area from FL. Just wanted to make a post to get to know everyone and possibly we can help each other out. I have a lot of experience in the firearms business and I work on my own guns. Lots of garage gunsmithing. I have some tools and experience with ARs. AKs. Glocks. SIG’s. And other platforms (more modern guns) if you need any help. I don’t have heavy machinery or a mill but I can help with the basic stuff. I work as an instructor and sales at Shooters Supply in Hixon TN but on my off time I’m always messing with guns. In FL I had lots of friends and connections and it was always easy to buy/sell/trade and help each other amongst friends and I would like to do the same here. if you ever have any questions or would like my opinion I’ve owned and shot most modern firearms just hit me up. im on the forums and IG as Foxjordan22

Got to see and handle one in person today and it was great. Loved the window size and it was very low to the slide.

They are also doing batch approvals. Silencershop claims faster times with single shot trusts.

With new higher optics like the GBRS and Unity Tactical is the 50yd Zero still the way to go?

I had the original Hudson and it was OK everyone that I let shoot it wasn’t impressed. The front sight broke after 200 rounds luckily the S&W M&P front sight is the same dove tail so I replaced it with one made for M&P. Sold it and haven’t looked back.

CMP 1911 CMP1911 luckily got a matching Remington Rand rack grade.

I’ve used the SCS on a G34 and loved it. I’d bet the carry version is just as good.

Their pistol optics are horrible. I’ve seen many failures in person.

LMT 10” pics DD MK18 pics I like both. They shoot good and very accurate. No complaints.

I’ve shot most of those and prefer the Blaser due to the low receiver striker fire design and balance. But more importantly it’s how the gun fits you and how the balance feels in your hand.

Agreed 100%. Only thing better would be an integral suppressed barrel so you wouldn’t have to SBR the gun.

Just settling in from my move from FL enjoying the TN weather and people. I’m happy to be here. I am a NRA instructor and very familiar with most modern firearms and general to advanced gunsmithing. I have a lot of rounds down range and enjoy all type of shooting sports. I am also a big gun nut and geek out about AKs and ARs specifically.
