I would really like to have a second Model 60.  But what is the point of even looking for one when I can't find ammo to shoot out of it.   The rolling your own thing is good for centerfire rounds but does nothing for .22's.   Around here I shoot the grandsons single shot .22 and my Ruger SAS anymore.  It conserves ammo and allows us to shoot a bit.  Can't be wasting ammo on him doing ammo dumps for an hour straight anymore.   if things don't get back to normal by next fall I will start looking to sell off what I use for hobby shooting and just keep a couple of pistols and the AK for tools.

    heck they can get guns.  just go a gun show or buy all they want off the internet.   If they are sponsored terrorists they can get fully auto guns.   Guns are not the problem.

well of course terrorists get their guns and pressure cookers at gun shows.  I see people all the time buying them things with no ID.  Them doing the buying look like terrorists.  Just the last time I was there with Oh Shoot I said, " look that them terrorists over there buying them pressure cookers and guns, they are up to no good"     Why don't they just make a law where only white men can buy guns and pressure cookers?  Problem solved!

I vote for organized crime drug deals.   It is not very convenient to drive up I-75,  would make much more sense to do a drug deal on the Clinch River in the middle of the night.

I have a customer who is a retired Gunnery Sgt.   He was telling me about being in Beirut.  Or actually being shelled and shot at on the beach in Beirut.  He is not so much a fan of Reagan either.   I am still waiting to find out what St. Ronnie did.  He made lots of speeches and stuff that were good.

I'd have ended up in jail if them guys came beating on my door and pulling my family out of the house.  My mouth would have gone into overtime.

I am from Cincinnati originally and there was plenty of biscuits and gravy there.   First time I ever saw grits was in Round Lake Beach Illinois,  and they tasted like crap there too.   As for the Sonic episode I always figure when going anywhere to eat other than a home you are taking a chance.  Sending food or drink back to the kitchen will result in a spit sammich or dirty fingers in your cup.    Just play the cards you are dealt.  Fish out your own lemon.
