I guess I will go along with what the DA decided when his office did not prefer charges based on the police investigation. And while just up and shooting someone in the back is generally not a good thing, the criminal got what was coming to him. I have NO doubt his death single handedly stopped his one man lifetime crime spree.

thats funny, sucks but still funny. I knew another guy that could not wear a watch. He had no idea why.

if I did much of any towing at all a back up camera would be a must have, I hope you get it sorted out. I am sure you will though.

the antenna is a black disc type thing that is stuck on the roof. On the new truck it is fixed on the passenger side, but on the old truck it was a magnet I could put anywhere I wanted. You must have had a bum radio or something, that sucks.

line of sight is the key. I spoke to a Sirius tech on the phone one day about where the satellite is in the sky. I told him where I was in TN and he said that due west would be the spot to make sure it could see if I was sitting stationary and wanted to listen. I used to use it to listen to NFL games and would have to get the old truck parked in such a way that one of the big tree trunks was not in the way.

HCP is an official state issued ID. If it is all I had I would raise three kinds of hell with the bank manager.

that's weird, doesn't make any sense. I have used it all over the place, all kinds of roads and it has always been great.

I have had it for over ten years, the previous years were using an add on radio. The kind you stick on the AC vents or stick in the windshield with a suction cup. It has always worked very well, cloud cover has never affected it. And of course if you oare sitting under an overpass or a big heavy tree it won't work. It sort of has to have a line of sight to the sky. But going at driving speed overpasses have never been an issue. The radio has a delay built in. In the new truck it is about ten seconds.

I handle ID's every day, the new ones do not seem very sturdy. They made me nervous the first few times I was shown them, but have come to expect them now. What bothers me more is people who show a HCP for ID. I ask them what they prefer to carry. Most are not carrying. Maybe 1 out of 10 I guess.

as coincidence would have it I got stuck behind an older fat guy riding a bike today on the way to work. I don't care really, but why was the dude dressed like he was in the Tour de France? I mean he had sponsors all over his bike riding clothing. It looked fairly ridiculous. And I assume he was a newer rider, not very nimble. I safely went around him after a short wait until I got to a place where I could see oncoming traffic. The insurance thing does not seem quite fair. Maybe I am overlooking some point of reason here.

we must have fielded 3 or 4 calls today with people looking for Sinatra JD. I laughed and wondered if any of them were from TGO members.

I believe the manager was fired afterwards. The same store was recently robbed again and a different name was bandied about as the store manager. And as for perusing the gunman, maybe he pointed back toward the manager with a gun as he was fleeing.

I believe they exist. I also believe they are here in East TN. Of course I do believe in a lot of things people around these parts don't believe in, and I don't believe in a few things people around these parts do believe in.

I understand how you feel about Sirius. I bought a new truck in March and I gave the salesman a list of dealbreakers. Not having OEM Sirius was on the list. Good luck, I bet the get it fixed up for you.

if you find the Sinatra Jack Daniels don't let yourself get ripped off. It should retail for about 150 bucks. There is one liquor stoe in Turkey Creek with Sinatra that has a 500 dollar price tag on it. The stuff was severely allocated, not sure how much they bottled. Most of the Sinatra will never see a glass.

do cyclists need to carry any type of insurance should they cause an accident resulting in property or physical damage?

Teacher Suspended For Showing Kids Pliers
Mike.357 replied to ironsniper1's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
kind of a misleading title to the story. How about having news stories that are truthful and stick to fact. While I do not agree with the outcome in this instance i do question why a two year old story is now making the news. Also why does the title mentions pliers and not knives. I dunno but I am guessing that having knives in the classroom is the issue not pliers. But then saying a teacher was suspended for having knives in class is not as sensational as saying he had pliers. -
just more of the same old same old I am pretty much ready to give up, tired to death of it all.
