  1. when we did Cub Scouts we would correct kids who were not in uniform and saluted during the pledge.     for the record I don't care if the cymbal kid saluted.
  2. In the Arms of an Angel,  jeez I hate that song. Hated it long before the abused puppies/cats commercials.   And She's like the Wind by Patrick Swayze.    Makes me wanna barf.   I am forced to hear these abominations while at work.   But all of that is balanced out by Cyndi Lauper songs,  arguably the greatest female pop star of the 80's
  3. shows how much gun/supply searching I have done in the last year or so, LOL   damn Google.   Oh well I don't care....
  4.     was that a JROTC band?
  5. hmmm I just did a search for 22 ammo and google brought up a bunch of suppliers.  I have never used the shopping thing.
  6. why was he saluting?  Shouldn't it have been hand over heart?
  7. so is MicroSoft pro gun?
  8. i thought Solon was outside of Cleveland, not Toledo.
  9. allow for a lot of time at the USS Alabama.  Not only is that ship there but also a submarine and a museum as well.  Easily could be the whole day.
  10. go somewhere and feast on royal red shrimp.
  11. i work with a guy who came from Rhea County.  I crack on him every day.   you can't get there from here. Got to go to the Noog first.
  12. good thing she did not want to be a Boy Scout
  13.     have you ever been arrested?  Innocent until proven guilty is a fallacy.  Always has been.
  14. I won't shed a tear when any of them croak.
  15. I will just cut to the chase,  the bible means jack squat to me.  If to others it holds meaning and all then good for you. I am seriously happy you find contentment in it.   As far as I am concerned gay people are just like me, you, and anyone else. They are people.  They deserve to be accepted for being people.   And if the BSA wouldn't accept them then screw the BSA.     Gays need to speak out and demand acceptance.  How else will they ever get it?     The BSA did the right thing here.  Plain and simple they did the right thing.
  16. pretty much all of us have unisex bathrooms in our homes. Why is there this perverse need to separate people when in a public restroom?
  17. the gun grabbing liberal she is may want to watch her step, Lautenberg is rotting,  McCarthy has the big C,  next up is this bitch.   I am sure she sleeps fine at night though.  After all she is part of the ruling class and to hell with the rest of us.
  18. I respect what was done during WW2 by my father's generation , but other than that it is very over rated.  Someone previous compiled a pretty good list as to what that generation did.   As for who declared war on who it did not matter,  the US was marching towards the sounds of guns.  That generation just happened to be alive at that time.  I firmly believe any generation of American's would have done what they did.  So as far as "greatest generation" I am not so sure.    Lautenberg was a terrible congressman.  And I do feel sorry for his loved one's loss, but I ain't shedding a tear or a second of reflection over his rotting in the ground.
  19. old people die, it happens every day.  Lautenberg was a poster boy for what is wrong with American politics.  Good riddance to bad rubbish.
  20.     how is that possible when BSA does not allow gay leaders?   How is it known the leader was gay?
  21. can't believe the OP did not include GM.   Government Motors
  22. being scared of gay people,   plenty of homophobia going around it seems.
  23. There have been gay scouts as long as there has been scouting is my guess.   I don't think this will affect much of anything.  But sooner or later there are going to be gay adult leaders openly involved.  And that must be why allowing openly gay scouting ever came to a vote.
  24.   on my 99 F150 the gauge lights quit working, lasted a couple of years.   Then in cold weather they would  work for a few minutes. Then all of the sudden they all worked like new.    Don't fix what ain't broken.   Ford's have parts that heal themselves
