I have seen this theory time and time again.  All that happens is the nicer neighborhoods, now forced to accept section 8 residents become not as nice neighborhoods.  It does not raise anyone up.   Geography does not hold people down, free rides hold them down.

hearing the "experts" saying a couple of days to deliberate, but really who knows.   Heard O'Mara say today he does not write up his closing arguments but rather knows what he wants to say and just goes with it.  I am hopeful to see how he does.   I do not understand why lesser charges is part of the game. I understand it is Florida law to do this but it seems sort of like playing poker and getting to change the bet after all the cards are laid out to see.  Seems kind of F'd up.  But it is what it is.   I really do not think the prosecution has proved anything that is contested.  If life was fair Zimmerman will go home a free man next week.

why didn't Martin call his Dad instead of the girlfriend?  Seems I'd call my Dad if I was going to call anyone other than police.   Surely the Dad would have come out to see or at least told him to run right home.   Logic tell me Martin was not going to be disrespected by some cracker, that would hurt his street cred for sure.  He picked a fight and lost.   Could Zimmerman have stayed in his truck?  Sure he could have, but I do not see where he broke any laws in his actions.

i truly believe that juror's set aside their personal feeling and actually rise to the occasion of determining guilt or innocence through the trial and following the law.  they want to get it right.   OJ got off because of a pair of gloves.

I was curious how the Armada/Titan held up.  Seems mileage wise they do ok.   I'd never buy a new generation of any brand.  Seems they always have issues.  That played a lot into buying a F150 back in March.  I think this is the fourth or fifth year of the current generation and the bugs ought to be worked out.  And I also liked the No Bailout part of the equation.

I loved drift diving off the Palm Beach Coast.  Lots of unforgettable memories from catching lobster, seeing Moray Eels, sting rays six feet across, bull sharks swimming under me during the safety stop,  diving in 40 foot swells of a  hurricane a long ways away, 8 foot long barracuda, swimming through wrecks, a statue in 60 feet of water, free flowing air tanks, coming up and not seeing the dive boat anywhere.  I could go on and on.

do what you think is prudent.   That said, life should not be all about the gun.  Go and enjoy yourself.  Leave the rifle in the safe.  ymmv
