Senility means meeting new people everyday as well as learning people died a second time apparently.  I can believe I forgot he died, oh well. I know I saw a Newser story yesterday about it though, can't find it now.  oh well   When I think of Kennedy I see him flying off the running board in Dirty Dozen too.

I am sad and amazed that there is no thread that Don Knotts passed as well as George Kennedy.   Knotts was an amazing comedian.  His roles are not overlooked.  George Kennedy is one of my all time fav's.   RIP

Our regular mailman retired about two months ago, he always was friendly and did a great job.     Now with the new mailman, maybe it is my imagination but I don't seem to get the bulk junk mail we used to get.  Not that I mind that but it makes me wonder what else he doesn't deliver. 

I am off work tomorrow so I will go and early vote.  At this moment I honestly don't know whose party to declare for or who to vote for.   There is so much I don't like about any of them.   Early on I liked Donald.  I just can't in good conscience cast for him.

if someone i don't know opens my car door without my approval they will get one in the chest. Not sure of the specifics of law, but I assume if it happens they don't mean to shake my hand.

I agree it was a racing wreck, but she definitely stuck her car in his position. In her defense the spotters can't see much on the backstretch to have been of any real help. He is a hothead and I am sure his interview would have been entertaining.   It made me wonder if NASCAR put the kabosh on an interview so as to keep their homogenized clean and proper new image intact.

Did they interview Danica and Biffle after she wrecked them both?  If so I missed it.  Bet it was/would have been, a good one.

Well you never know when some of the hard to get items will arrive.  I don't anticipate either coming any time soon.  I have not seen Elmer in forever.  But it was that way with the Noah's and Rowan's too,

Weller Reserve and Weller Antique have hit our shelves again finally.  As well as Noah's Mill ,Rowans Creek and Blanton's.   Supplies are as always limited.  We stock our shelves with these spirits the same as if it is 7 Crown.  First come first served.   Try your local stores, they might have it too.   Our orders stands at 100 cases, so we get what the distributors send.  Distribution is  joke.  We got about seven cases total of Weller, maybe five of the Blanton's.  ( 6 bottle cases)

it isn't bad being me from 2-10 pm.  Other times not so much.

lots of hate in this thread.  The daughter looks like 90% of the young woman who are my customers.  She can't be blamed for her parentage.   the father is who he is.  It isn't his daughters fault.  I assume she is looking to a career in modeling.   Some of you guys make me shake my head.  Nothing like being sanctimonious.

if you are going to watch the Big Game then how do you skip the halftime?   I went to a Big Game once.  Number 16.   Up with People was the halftime show. Times have changed.   I have no clue who Coldplay is.They were terrible.  I did enjoy the Bruno Mars/Beyonce bit. She should have been the headliner. Coldplay was way out of their league.   Lady Gaga would have been great for halftime.  Maybe next year.  She has mad talent.  I watched her a couple of years ago on Rockin New Years Eve.     ...This from an old curmudgeon fart.

  Apflekorn is still available.  It is now called just Berentzen.  Same product.  We almost always have it on the shelf.   The Jim Beam Signature bourbon is real good stuff, sadly it is overlooked by most people because of the Beam name.  If they would have made up some other name for it I guess it would sell a lot better.  Same for the Ezra Brooks 12 year old.   And I'd like to know what is going on at Buffalo Trace. They still pump out plenty of that stuff but the Weller is virtually non-existant now, can't even get Benchmark anymore.
