  1. Saw it with OS when it was released.  Great action movie.   At least two thumbs up.   Plausibility of the story?  Not so much.  But what the heck it is a movie.  How real was Wizard of Oz?
  2.     that is flat out not true.   Very little of Florida is like Long Island.    Del Ray and most of Boca Raton I will not argue about.  Once you clear Palm Beach County going north it is crackerville.  South of Palm Beach County is another country.  Anything much over several miles inland is very much not Yankee like.
  3. gotta agree about Duke's.   Has it all over Hellmann's    Frank's is the best Louisiana style hot sauce, Texas Pete's is tied with IGA Brand for second.   Miracle Whip is not on the radar
  4. mustard is a fine condiment,  just not for red meat.   Mayo is full of God's love.   All that trumps mayo is mayo mixed with Frank's
  5. is he wealthy and if so where did he get his money?
  6.     just comprehending southern speak
  7.     and the downside is?  since mustard obviously is not an issue for you
  8.   but I moved here from South Florida where I will have you know i was made a naturalized Floridian by some cracker at a NASCAR race,
  9.     mustard has no place on a hamburger
  10. just shows that if someone wants to steal they are gonna do it
  11. and a fact,  White Castle has it all over Krystal
  12.   so if I read this right it depends on how you were raised, not where.
  13. Waffle House trumps any breakfast joint.  I remember Sambo's.  It was a great restaurant, always got Silver Dollar pancakes.   And since it will keep this thread on topic,  define Yankee

    Facebook

the final straw for me was the daily friend request from my wife's stepmother.  At one point she called and wanted to know why I did not friend her.  That is when I got rid of it.    that woman gets on my last nerve.

I quit FB years ago.  I have no clue how it works any more.    But don't you control who can see your stuff there?   Can't you make it non-public?  And if so can't you simply deny having the thing?   I actually was never able to figure out how to actually delete my account, but was only able to suspend it.   I have never been back since that day and have no clue if i am "out there" still.   I am pretty sure they don't want anyone deleting accounts.
  16. walk into the mall through Sears.  I don't think they are posted.  And therefore other postings don't seem legal.
  17. Nice looking rifle but I doubt it will make me trade my Savage in just yet.
  18.   Of course websites post stories that drive views of their pages.  Nothing new here, or newsworthy with that either.  Just happened to be Cyrus twerking this time..   And as you admit never watching these award shows how do you know what goes on?  I'd of liked to see celeb's blowing each other, must have missed that
  19. this show just keeps getting better and better.   NO one is taking Heisenberg down.
  20. I have been with Geico for over 25 years. I have made my share of claims.  They are a first rate company to deal with.   Make the switch with confidence.
  21.   Life is not all about carrying a gun.
  22.   right on Bob Dylan!   I guess what Natalie Maines did in England is not issue to me because I see little to no difference between making a editorial type comment on stage to the message in the music.  It is the same thing.      I grew up on Country Joe, CSN&Y, The Eagles, The Doors and many more.  A lot of their music was political.  What they said while on stage between songs was no wake up call.   There are several instances of political commentary on the Woodstock sound track which was far and away the music that influenced my musical likes and dislikes.
  23. Geez what did people expect from her last night?   It is not my style but a lot of people like it and like what she does.
  24. meh,  I was never a fan of the Dixie Chicks, don't care what their politics are.      I recall music from the late sixties and early seventies that was very political in nature.
  25. the orange is hideous.  I like the alternate uniform.
