I doubt too many of us would be happy if an outdoor shooting range opened on property adjacent to our own.   The homeowners certainly are looking at diminished value of their property and homes.

  I feel what you are saying Mark.      But I do think it is spitting into the wind.   I do not believe enough people can get in the game to make a difference.  Way too many people having their hands filled with free stuff.  They are never going to want a change.  Combine them with the people who believe it is the right thing to do by giving handouts and you have a majority that is not getting smaller but larger.   The Tea Party has made a negligible difference.

Mark i honestly don't see any difference between the two.  they are in for themselves.  I really don't care who wins.  Sad isn't it?   Carr might go to DC with high hopes but give him a term or two and he will be like the rest.   they are all more equal than the rest of us.

    I will go out on a limb and say that will not change,  maybe internet voting will happen someday but they will never go back to paper.   Not that I care really.  Dunno what will ever make me vote again.  My vote does not count.

    Find "Birth of a Nation"  It is a civil war flick.  Pretty racist by today's standards. Black people portrayed by white men in black face and all that stuff.  But the battle scenes were supposedly very realistic due the the fact that people were still alive who had actually witnessed civil war battles.

Weller 12 year old is back in the market.   Guess they aged some up in a hurry.   It has come back way sooner than anticipated.   And if you like Stout beer you need to look for this and give it a try.  Far and away the best Pumpkin beer in the market right now. Imperial Pumpkin Smash from Crown Valley Brewing.  It comes in a 12 oz bottle full of 10.6 % of that stuff we all like We retail it for 2.55/btl.  It really is amazing.  Not often I say that about beer.

I can't stand when someone takes a side and then states they aren't taking sides.  It is obvious what Starbucks intent here is.   That said if I want one of their fruity jacked up with caffeine drinks then I will go get one.  Until they properly post I will still feel welcome to do so.

I love how threads such as these always end up being about naming a movie that has not been named yet, the movie being good or not never really matters.   That said how could anyone forget such military classics as Stripes and Private Benjamin and GI Jane.

I will go out on a limb and venture a guess that rewording 2A is the least of the issues in those books.

  it seems cold hearted, not sure about a police escort but in the past I have let people go and had them escorted out by security.   You don't give early notice that you are wacking someone.  You don't let them finish the day or week, even letting them back to their work area might be asking for trouble.     Sucks but it is how it is done.
