Buddy Holly we will never know about, but Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis went by the way side because their music was stalled in neutral.  They never moved on from what made them famous.  They pretty much faded away.    You do not hear much of it on radio today unless listening to a golden oldie station.   The Beatles undoubtedly were influenced by the music Berry, Lewis and others of their ilk.   What made the Beatles so great was their music grew into new genres.  their songs are still played today on stations playing easy listening to hard rock.  The Beatles were crossover stars.  Music, movies, art.  They did it all.

    Gotta disagree with you on this.  The Beatles made music that no one else did, they influenced almost everyone that came after.   I could care less about John Lennon's politics.

who knows if they will ever let us see Carol again??  About the only interesting part of this last episode was waiting to see Daryl's reaction.   I still wanna see Judith become a crawler and bite Carl's ankle.   The entire zombie shoot with Rick and Carl was lame as hell,  nothing believable about it.  But of course the entire premise of the show is believing in zombies, so nothing need be believable anyway I guess.   Rick is pretty much a dick, he would not be my boss.

    I see men with wallets that have a change pouch thingy in them.  See them every day.   I hate change.  I never put it in pocket if I can help it.  Keep it palmed and drop it in the truck's cup holder.

had a customer OC into the liquor store yesterday.  No one but me noticed, customers are oblivious to it.  Of course he acted like anyone else in the door acts, did nothing to draw attention.  Got his case of wine, paid and left.  This is how OC should always happen.

I sort of watched it this morning.   I was really hoping they might branch off in the whole Carol story.   But with the lame story line as of late and the appearance of the governor I almost suspect she will turn up as his prisoner or something.   Overall the series is turning into a major bust.

War movie buffs will have a payday tomorrow.     AMC is starting a war movie marathon at 9:45 AM.  Unfortunately I guess most of us will be working.

there are several items I would like to take a spin back in time for there.  Starting with a Luger and followed closely by .30 Carbine ammo.

I have a Cattleman replica from Uberti it does not say Cattleman on it, it surely was not built in Germany.  Uberti is an Italian company.   My 58 Remmy (.44) replica is an Uberti and it is a nice pistol.  I also bought the .45 Colt conversion cylinder for it.  Make sure of you do this to only shoot cowboy loads through it, it is not rated for full centerfire loads.   Fit and finish is 8 out of 10. It certainly does not compare to a Ruger Vaquero.  But it is good stuff for a 250 dollar pistol.  The conversion costs about as much. I don't know that I'd ever sell it. Replacement parts are readily available if needed.   Dang I need to shoot it,  nothing like the stank of black powder.

you did good on the Sinatra, I have heard of places really jacking the price on that stuff.   Never tasted it but it is a beautiful presentation.

  What did you pay for the Sinatra?   never tried Winterjack but we sell a lot of it.  I think it is way overpriced for the alcohol content.  Bottom line is it says Jack Daniel's on it so people buy it.

what will come of it?   i will answer.      A whole lot of nothing will come of it.
