reading this thread makes me feel like I did alright giving up on it all weeks ago.

I don't see how it is possible as stated in the thread title.

    maybe I misread but we pay taxes for that.  The .gov is not giving any of it.  It is not exactly a handout.

curious about how many of the 41k who signed the petition are actually delegates.

I watched a History Channel show not long ago about Billy the Kid, this picture was part of it. IIRC they debunked it being him. The debunking was based on the tree and lack of leaves as well as the style of the building and where Billy was at during the summer of that year. Who knows?

if you buy a quad that is sized to fit a kid now he will outgrow it in very short order.  If I had bought one when the oldest grandson was 8 by the time he was 9 he would have been too big for it.   I'd recommend looking for a used one with a 200cc or 250cc motor.  It may be light enough for a kid to handle and will last him into adult hood.  Only let him have it if his feet can hit the pegs.    While 2k is a lot of money, in the long run it might be cheaper.     The hardest thing to teach a new rider, especially a kid is Fear.  Quads are dangerous and a good dose of fear is helpful.  And insist on a helmet.   Of course if the kid in question if five years old or so I'd hesitate on getting them one. There are battery operated kiddie quads and dirt bikes that may be more appropriate.   All of my advice may be pointless depending on the age of the boy and his size.

back in the day, drive ins were awesome.  Get your license, have a car and head to the drive in.  It was an era.   Lots of my misspent youth was at the "Dirty"Dent, Auto In, or The Ferguson.  Too much fun.

there is some crap on Netflix.  I am not sure how to claim one is worse than the other.  Ardennes Fury was really poor.     I remember really bad double features at the drive in back in the 70's

I feel you.     Maybe contact your dealer and see if they will do the lift?  Doubt they'd let you supply the parts but you never know, or maybe they can point you someplace that will.

Clarify with whoever will do your warranty work should you need it if any of that will void the warranty.     Any particular reason for wanting to lift it?

worst case most likely is wasting a cops time. Might be funny to see the reaction of who finds it.
