I'd wait and binge it but I don't have the self control not to watch at 9 on Sunday night.      I really like that each season will have a new cast.   And the 8 episode format is good for me, 12 or 13 gets long.   I am not sure how any episode could leave you feeling it was a little slow.  The last two ought to be out of control.

good advice Tanker.   I lost both of my parents within 50 days this past Fall.   Nothing is cheap and my entire family is appreciative that Dad had it all figured out and taken care of before hand.   I love you Mom and Dad, miss you more than anything.

a playoff is no better than what has gone on with the BCS.  Aside from the three games that will make up the playoffs all other bowl games will be meaningless.   I much preferred it before the BCS, games all meant a little something, even when the two top rated teams did not play.   For example,  this year Michigan State played in the Rose Bowl.  In years past the SEC champ would have played in the Sugar Bowl, the ACC champ would have played in the Orange Bowl.  So if the ACC and SEC champs lost MSU would have had a chance to leapfrog into a title.     Maybe I am too old school.

a judge can rule however he wants to, Chicago will do whatever they want to.   I doubt the politicians in Chi-town really care about some court ruling.

the BCS has about ruined college football.  It was much better the old way when the top two teams hardly ever played each other.  Bowl games were over and done with on New Years Day and the bowl games actually meant something.    They would play the games and on January 2 the final polls would come out and a champion would be crowned.  Of course half of the fans would disagree, half would thump their chests and everyone could argue over who was actually Number 1.

I have found it best to just not talk about guns with people, especially at work.  I put it right up there with religion and politics.

truck said 3 degrees. thermometer at my garage door said 8.  meh.  I have been in colder.   Water runs, heat works, there is food and drink.   It will warm up soon enough.
