  1. I have a Glenfield Marlin Model 60 I bought over 25 years ago. No telling homw many rounds have been through it over the years. It is still accurate and has had no parts replaced on it. Can't go wrong with on IMHO. As for a pistol I think a Single Action revolver is a must have in any gun collection where the collector enjoys shooting .22's
  2. my point exactly ,lol
  3. Anyone know if anyone local in Knox sells recoils springs for a 1911. it has been suggested I switch to an 18 lb spring from the stock 16 lb one.
  4. I have a flashlight, I can shoot after dark. Anyone wanna volunteer to be the target holder?
  5. I have a Yugo that I got up in Greenville for $160 back in April. I have no idea if it ever saw "action. I think it was made in '88, don't know when it was imported, not sure how to find that out. For the money spent it is a great rifle. Fairly accurate but even more it is fun to shoot. I have thought about getting a new stock for it but am not sure I understand the rules about changing parts out on it. The ten round fixed mag is plenty of firepower for my needs. It will work fine for zombies, and if not there is always the chainsaw.
  6. I am biting, Strickj, what was the joke??? Heck the mods here don't even read half the threads.
  7. what was the price on the SKS? What type was it if you know.
  8. For me it is when I am camping on private property or here on my property. Others might feel it appropriate elsewhere.
  9. really
  10. someone define weapons. That is a stroke painted with a broad brush.
  11. sarcasm aside, I have had my fill of the local lawmen and how they treat guns, someone else can take my next at bat.
  12. I will not open carry here for one big reason. I do not believe the Knoxville Police and Knox County Sheriff are very understanding of this law. I believe even if not arrested and the gun not confiscated I will be hasseled and harrassed by them for doing it. Most likely handcuffed and made a public spectacle of.
  13. aside from this place I could care less if all computers stopped working. Life was better in the old days before there were CompUSAs
  14. oh no, knot Jesus in the picture. We will be overrun now. There will be pilgimages to TGO
  15. The squirells here used to run rampant, now they shudder in fear and head to the far side of the tree when they hear the Red Ryder get cocked. If I want to take a shot at them I have to go inside to cock it. Fear the Red Ryder.
  16. here is a knotty picture anyway
  17. have you tried clicking the box when logging in that says "remember me"?
  18. Oh, you're one of those guys then TMI
  19. Wasn't the cash part made clear where he took his HCP class at? Whats the big deal here? As for finger prints I am guessing the state does not want the responsibility of doing it and it is less expensive for it to be farmed out to UPS. About two hours for me, and half of that was drive time to TDOS and then to the UPS Store. Pretty simple really considering the responsibility it lays upon us. Yep jinxed for sure dude, and don't forget TDOS shuts down for the last two weeks of the year anyway
  20. Now Cody lets get to the point. Is she hot?
  21. Mike.357

    Do you .22?

One single action .22 and two rifles in .22
  22. my contribution to this silliness
  23. Phantom, how are you all set for some firewood up there? Forecast shows it is gonna a bit chilly Saturday. I can bring a bunch of pallet wood if need be. let me know if you want it. Might have nails in it still is the downside but they do not hurt anything in the fire pit. I burn 'em here at home.
  24. My nephews buddy has a Polaris quad with JB weld filling a hole on the motor, been there for a long time and still runs.
  25. We have a Bush in the white house again and if Hillary get in we will have more Bush in the White House. Sorry that was tasteless.
