  1. that Coleman looks nice. Is there anyway you can hear it operate before committing to the purchase?
  2. extended, well it is good to learn something new daily.
  3. I got a envelope from the boss this morning along with a Merry Christmas. I haven't opened it yet. I doubt it will be gun shopping money, maybe enough for a box of 9mm anyway.
  4. I watched part of an episode of Myth Busters the other night and they featured the turreted Tahoe. It was an episode about shooting fish in a barrel.
  5. Anybody shoots my hippo and I am gonna cap their wife when she is at the mailbox.
  6. I'd rather deal with the goat killers than those people you just described. I am mildly suprised they just didn't tell you the pistol was a fotey. Whats an essented clip?
  7. I liked the dowl rod idea on tha other website. If the dowls were fat enough they might even get you over the doors threshold too.
  8. I think you did a nice job compiling the list. Though some of them seem a little to over the top. I agree that as we get older we get more careful. A few I just can't comply with include keeping my windows only an inch down. I am not a big fan of A/C in the car and I enjoy the fresh air, I am going to take long showers sometimes. I do not drink that often but I do like to get buzzed up on occassion. Ladders are sometimes unavoidable. Some songs on the radio must be played at high volume. I am not going to keep weapons scattered around the house, one on my hip seems sufficient. Now that is just me, everyone has to decide for themselves. All in all there is a lot of good advice in the list. I need to sign up for an art class, when I draw my gun it looks pretty crappy too!
  9. try this place maybe they can help www.cranerentalsareus.com LOL sorry but I would not want to trade places with you today. All kidding aside, do not try to do this solo or with just your wife helping. Someone could get hurt. PS: take some pictures of the process and post them up.
  10. and there is this point of view
  11. so much for any fun around here, lol

You and that urban dictionary, lol. Thanks Boom, cleared it up for me.

    M4gery

Can someone explain what an M4gery is?
  14. I dunno about being jealous of that hat but I will testify to you being a very good shot in that qualification! You could jump right into immigration control and you wouldn't need no stinkin badge either.
  15. I did not know they had the internet down there.
  16. I think we need Rabbi to ask how to prove he has a right to own a dog. LOL
  17. it depends on how high the truck tail gate is I think. When I moved mine in the house it was in my pick up truck bed and laying flat. It also had a pallet bolted onto the bottom. If it has a carboard box around it I would leave the box on until you get it in the house. For your sake hopefully the truck has a tommy lift on it. If so you can probably walk it off the lift gate (shimmy it back and forth) and then use a dolly to roll it into the house. If no tommy lift lay it flat on the backside and edge it toward its balance point. Once you get a little past the balance point gravity will take over. Your safe weighs about 300 lbs more than mine. If I was you I would get a refridgerator dolly and have a buddy help you keep it balanced. If it is on a pallet I would advise leaving it on until you get it near its final resting place. The pallet will help keep it stable should you lose leverage on it. Once you are ready to roll over the threshold on your doorway I would be rolling it backwards and keep up a head of steam to help you get over it. If possible maybe remove the threshold. A small bump with that much weight could be a real sticky situation. 750 lbs is a lot of weight to deal with. Be very careful and take your time. Good luck.
  18. if you took the time to read posts on this board instead of coming on here and just showing your best side you might have caught the reference I was getting at with the "etiquette" comment. It has nothing to do with booting you from this forum. Many posts ago some suggested you do this- click here. Might be the best advice you have ever gotten. +1 to Scotts post
  19. this forum was more fun when everyone was mailbox watching for the HCP's. Canyn we know you are all Mall Ninja too.
  20. Cool, now I feel better, LOL I think you have me confused with someone else. As for the rest of the post I don't know what to say, it is all over the place and I am not sure who it is directed at. I stand by my comments that you are an embaressment to the shooting community. Every time you post something you just prove my point further. I did like you comments aimed at Mars about googling an assault rifle. I believe he was using one before you were born and before there was such a term. Back then I think it was just called an M16 or M14. Mars is this guy eligible for your "etiquette" classes?
  21. Thanks, that made my day, LOL seriously funny dude. So your so called neighbor the county commissioner says I should go fornicate with myself because I said you give gun owners a black eye? What kind of county are you from? What did he say about your premeditated murder threats? Really you ought to crawl back under the rock you came from. I feel in pretty good company with your comments directed at Mars. I wish my comments could be drivel too. Too funny, wow.
  22. Just to clarify, signage that is not worded correctly or that reflect and old law is NOT illegal, mostly it is just insignificant. And I believe it has been bkelm in the past who has mentioned when you shoot your mouth off at these businesses about their incorrect signage all you may accomplish is getting them to post correct signage and therefore making it illegal for you to carry in their establishment. Why throw it in their faces? Leave a sleeping dog lie.
  23. Mars I doubt you are a problem to be neighbors with. Someone such as yourself has proven to be an upstanding citizen and most all of us would like to have you or one like as a neighbor.
  24. Comments like this are a real reason why you should not own guns. And and even bigger reason why I am glad I don't know you and you are not my neighbor. People like you give honest gun owners a black eye.
