  1. great movie, watched it last night. Wish I had it on DVD because TBS edited out some of the best lines. Cousin Eddie is a classic is my favorite character. dunno about it being the best Christmas movie ever but it is the best "Vacation" movie of the four.
  2. from what little I have read about this guy I cannot figure out how he got a fort named after him. I can't tell that he was at best more than incompetent.
  3. You gonna have any Hi-Point 995 Carbines?
  4. Did it not come in a box of some sort? Well that helped cheer me up some!! Glad to hear there was SOME stress involved.
  5. Why aren't hollow points used? Seems to me if you are using your sidearm that it has gotten very ugly and dropping a guy with less shots would be a premium???
  6. Canyn were you wearing the dress when you were walking that dog? It is a mini dress?
  7. If this is the wrong place for it please move it on over. Anyway I saw something on the boob tube today and for whatever reason this question came to mind. What type of handgun ammo is used in the military. Who manufacters it, what kind is it(ie: fmj, jhp, etc...), and what calibers are supplied?
  8. what did you do?
  9. Sometimes while out making adult beverage deliveries we go through some of the seedier parts of town. I always get a chuckle out of seeing the thug type walking down the street with a death grip on the waist band of their pants. I wonder if there is a method for buying oversized pants. Like if you wear a 32 do you buy a 40 or a 42? Is a certain amount a standard in buying larger sizes. There is one liquor store on merchants rd that has a big sign in the door lecturing about wearing those types of pants. Basically if you are wearing them they do not want your business.
  10. If no one else will say it then I will. This thread turned out to be a dud. I guess we all thought that your monstrous RSC would be sitting in your driveway overnight or maybe even fall off the back of the truck. And you post on here how it basically became a none event. No busted nuckles or anything. Boring! Nah, just kidding, I am glad you got it off the truck and into the house a lot easier than was anticipated. Now you have to get to work on filling it up. Post a pic of it when you get it all set up. I would like to see it. Catalog pics don't always do justice.
  11. does this mean by your average white man or by people in general?
  12. How many hommies do you know? I would suspect that African American shooting enthusiasts enjoy going to the range as much as us Euro Amercan shooters do.
  13. get a Glock Okay don't get a Glock. Do a lot of hands on looking. Gun shows are a great place to see hundreds of different handguns. What works for one person might not work for you. In case it wasn't clear in other posts, carrying IWB involves a holster specifically made for that carry option. If you are a fatso like me IWB does not work so well or feel very comfortable.
  14. On your property you can carry however you wish. Carry a rifle if you want. Off your property you need the permit. In either case you can carry open or concealed.
  15. God bless you Mike, you and your wife are good people.
  16. I am little past backpacking myself, but I would be up for it if the company was going to be good. I wish I had a small camper. The wife likes camping but she is over the tent camping stuff. For me at the farm if she is not along I usually sleep on the front seat of the truck. That place is not much for sleeping anyway, normally it is more like passing out in the wee hours of the morning. And while I am older and more mature I still try to stay up late to see what dumb ass stuff the kids get into after they have had some beers. Never fails to be enterntaining. I have a saying for up there, " the later is gets the stupider it gets" Lots of laughs and mostly no one gets injured.
  17. Mostly I want a generator for camping up on the farm. Ther the noise from that would not be noticable over quads, gunfire and who knows what else at all hours of the day. If I see you in a campground I will kill the radio and invite you over to shoot the bull over a cool adult beverage
  18. now, now, now you saw where that got Hellbilly sent to.
  19. I'll bring ther sawzall and sledge hammer, who else is in?
  20. http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/shoulder_bbii.htm Here is a link from CTD. They have a few should holsters. I took a tanker style holster off of Tower a few months ago. It is for a 1911 and I like it a lot. Loops over your neck and under the left arm. Fairly discrete with some sort of button down shirt for a cover.
  21. Any one of them ankle biting mutts comes at me they are gonna get a lead shower. Viscous looking animals one and all
  22. I read this yesterday on the News Wire Posting part of the board. I think a lot of it is a step in the right direction. Now if King George will sign it we will be getting somewhere.
  23. Sorry my man, read internet message boards at your own risk. As for you Canyn, you are as much fun as a barrel of monkeys!
  24. Mars using a generator depends on the style of camping you are partaking in. You ought to be giving me the benefit of the doubt instead of being angry and threatening. If I am on private property and we are camping with comforts of home, maybe a TV and A/C in a camper I am using the generator (provided I ever get one.) The same would apply to a campground that is primarily made up of RV's. If I am in SMNP and we are tent camping there is no generator. Sorry but there will be a radio more than likely with moderate volume during reasonable hours. Probably a gas grill as well. Nothing beats the G2G for grilling fun on a campground campout. Now in the woods, primitive camping I am all for nature providing the entertainment. Cook over wood embers, no radio, shovel for digging a hole. You know the routine.
  25. Rabbi, do you sell Glocks?
