    I Don't Care

kind of dissapointed today. on my homepage here at work, MSN.com there was no new Brittany story today. She must be getting her life together. What do you think? I bet she is into guns being a country girl and all.
  3. the rare times I need to leave a gun behind in my truck I use a heavy cable lock and put it through the frame of the gun and then around the back seat frame. No way it is coming out unless a person breaking in has a bolt cutter with them. I am not too worried about vehicle theft on my near ten year old truck. way too many nice new trucks around here for the picking.
  4. scratched compact disc Mars, I do not have a lot of first hand shooting experience with 1911's other than the RIA I own. How an RIA's trigger pull compare to other 1911's? Mine has suprised me several times when firing a string from a magazine. I am very careful to keep the booger hook off the trigger unless trained at a target with a safe background. And of course trigger discipline is the best way for a gun to not go off unintentionally.
  5. I have often wondered this about Brady. What is in it for them? I mean really. why do they give a rats ass about whether there are guns or not? Originally I guess their mission was started because of the shooting. But surely they realize the spin they put on stats is not honest. I would be hard pressed to believe that anyone there actually believes in their high and mighty cause. Could they be that blind and misguided? I believe that money is almost always the bottom line. And through gaining donations and however else they acquire funds that they are fattening their personal wallets. The bottom line being that operating an anti gun type business is how many are making their living. am I wrong here? Is it really a high and mighty ( though misguided) cause?

    .410 pistol???

Tower's Thunder 5 is one of the most fun guns I have ever shot. I would love to have one. I doubt there is any gun that would be better for close up protection. I don't know anything about Phantoms target stands

    I Don't Care

For those of us who are not hating on Brittany I share this. Why was she released? That's the lingering question after Britney Spears was discharged from the hospital Wednesday over the recommendation of her treating psychiatrist and against the wishes of her father, who has been named as her conservator. Jamie and Lynne Spears, in a joint statement given to The Associated Press through their attorney, said they were "extremely disappointed" to learn their daughter had been allowed out. "We are deeply concerned about our daughter's safety and vulnerability and we believe her life is presently at risk," the statement said. "We ask only that the court's orders be enforced so that a tragedy may be averted." http://music.msn.com/music/article.aspx?news=299331&GT1=7702
  8. the entire way a president is elected is to protect the interests of smaller states.
  9. Excellent point Phantom, even more important than anything i brought up about 1911's.
  10. If you can stomache dealing with them over the no gun thing can't you just use the drive up window or ATM machine outside?
  11. 1911's are fun guns, and can be good shooters. But if I was trying to make a decision on buying one gun it would not make the list. It seems everyone has some kind of trouble with theirs and it takes effort to de-bug them. Doesn't seem to matter how much they cost either, they are hit or miss (no pun intended) on whether or not they operate 100% out of the box. Your mom is certainly welcome to run some ammo through mine if she wants to though.
  12. Nice looking .41 there Frank. I love the appearance of fluted cylinders on a blued revolver. Sorry DMark, I give you credit for the pistol. Thanks for setting me straight Frank.
  13. I hope everyone from TGO made it through this okay. Tornadoes are one of natures fury's that I do not care for at all. Back in 1974, the greater Cincinnati area got hit with about 11 of them one afternoon. While our house was unscathed I knew plenty of people whose homes were basically flattened. To this day on U.S. 50 along the Ohio River you can still tell where a path was cleared of trees. Has to be near a half mile wide strip running up the opposite side of the river in KY. I remember it looking like someone had dumped a box of kitchen matches all over the place the way the trees lay strewn. There was one car I saw with my own eyes that was half full of mud inside. The windows remained unbroken but the force of the wind forced mud through the door seals. There was a layer of 6 inches of it inside the car. It is crazy how them things pick and choose their targets. A house left untouched and ones on either side flattened. Boggles the mind how nature works sometimes. For whatever reason we do not seem to get them here. I am guessing it is the terrain and the way the ridges run. Weather from the west and northwest is never as severe here as it is on the other side of the ridge. But when I see weather coming from the east and south we can catch it pretty good. thankfully it does not happen that way often.
  14. I was pretty much raised to believe that if you are of age, legal to vote and you don't vote then you have no right to complain about what happens. There have been times when I was so unenthused by candidates that I skipped part of the ballot and left it blank. But a cast blank ballot is still a vote in my opinion. At least it lets them know your disgust at the available candidates. I suppose not voting might give the same impression but like I said I was raised to go and cast a ballot.
  15. A guy I worked with two years ago was almost taken in on a scam similar to this. He was contacted by phone if i recall correctly. Some of the other guys repeatedly tried to straighten him out on it. One of us, hehe, kept telling him it sounded for real and he ought to send the money. Finally one guy, who was his buddy for years and years threatened to kick his ass if he did it. As it ended up he did not send the money. Oddly enough I believe that it was the guy telling him to do it and get rich quick that convinced him of the scam. It is amazing what greed will do to people who are normally somewhat grounded.
  16. I am assuming you say this in jest? Is it even possible for a ticket as you mentioned?
  17. I am guessing that a lot of woman vote for her because of chomosomes they have in common. My wife does not follow politics even a little bit and I know she voted for hillary just because she is a female. My trying to educate her falls on deaf ears and it is not worth the turmoil.
  18. I always vote too. This was the first election in a long time where I feel my vote was heard. Here in Knox County a bunch of bums are getting tossed out!! The bums who did not get tossed were mainly running unopposed in the primary and I am hopeful they will get wacked in the general election. This presidential election is downright scary.
  19. Not to pick a fight but would the other option be a better one? Personally I just pretty much avoid going to those places.
  20. Would it be in poor taste to have Hillary targets? Would it be illegal?
  21. I saw it but I don't think it was on Sunday, not that it matters. Poorly made by todays standards but still good movies. Okay, maybe not the third movie. I love knowing the bad guy is going to get and of course he always does! Bronson is an original Hollywood tough guy.
  22. Big mouth Hillary is yapping it up right now on the TV, I want to puke. It makes me sick to think about what it will be like if she is the next president. Bunch of sheeple all there cheering, I hate that woman. Freakin phoney bit#h face. Rant off thanks for listening.
  23. Nice pair of guns there! Congrats! I'd like to know how that works, lol. Me and the wife have an agreement, neither one of us "lets" the other do anything.
  24. That credit card stuff ticks me off. If I am making a big purchase (over $100) I am not carrying cash. A lot of you might not mind having a 100 bucks on you but I don't care for it. Another big reason is that if there is any problem at all after the purchase you have some recourse. A lot of gun shops charge extra if you want to use your CC or they act put out by taking it. If they don't want to accept it they ought to just remove the signage saying they accept them.
  25. I would guess, more often than not when some crackhead felonious sort puts a honest law abiding persons back to the wall and the BG gets shot they do not come from family that has money to hire an attorney. If the shoot looks good it is doubtful than an attorney who gets paid only if they collect is going to take that type of case.
