I decided since I am hitting the big 50 this month I would reward myself for living this long. I purchased a NIB 1873 Uberti Cattleman SAA. Its a .44 cap and ball revolver. It is strictly a replica of sorts as the 1873 was never made as a percussion gun. It was only originally manufactured as a cartridge revolver. 5.5 inch blued barrel and cylinder with a case hardened frame, its a beauty!

Bryan, NASCAR does run at Memphis Motorsports Park. Both the Craftsman Truck Series and the Nationwide Series (was the Busch Series) both race there. I am guessing you are referring to the Sprint Cup Series. All are under the NASCAR umbrella. No way is the Cup Series going to race at Memphis. There is not a facility there that could handle it.

on mine the 9 volt battery is inside the keypad. It it very easy to remove the keypad and replace the battery. keep in mind the RSC is not Ft. Knox.

I have one, though I would hardly call it long term yet, not quite a year. But it is easy to operate and error free to date. I believe the two big advantages to a keypad are that it is simple to open, only takes a send or so and that you can easily change the combination.

I beg to differ with this opinion. Beating and banging is one thing but a wreck is the last thing I want to see at a race. There have been more than a few race car drivers die while competing, no one wanted to see any of that. Ask Adam Petty's mom how she feels about your comment. I had a pretty strong acquantaince die at Texas Motor Speedway in a truck race about 6 or 7 years ago, so I am not a big fan of race crashes. Sorry if i sound harsh but it is a real sore subject with me. Not as many as there once was but they are still out there. My only beef with these local tracks is they never seem to finish up til the wee hours in the morning, as I get older it gets to be too late for me to hang in there. We go to Tazewell and it is great fun, but not getting home until after 2 AM is too hard on my old self.

I would be interested in what he has to say. I took my class through the Knox County Sheriffs Regional Training Center and our class was told to not wear one of them badges. Dave I am the total opposite of sensitive, as you well know. I don't doubt you really have a badge somewhere in you "closet". hahahahaha I am too old and fat to give a care about what most people think. I do wish I would see some joker out and about wearing his badge. I know for sure I would go and poke fun at them. Probably ask if they were police or something. I have no doubt I would laugh at them. to 9mm+357 I believe those guys you took your training from are trying to make some cash. Don't buy one and wear it. Do yourself a favor here.

That and North Carolina Motor Speedway (Rockingham). Two great tracks with lots of history. It's all about the money. Funny now that NASCAR has peaked ( three or four years ago) you see lots of empty seats at every race track. Especially California and Atlanta. From the looks of things Martinsville is not near a sell out. This in spite of the loud mouth announcer saying how more tickets had been sold than there were people in the stands. Of course the empty seats are the crappiest in the grandstands. They flat out did not sell those seats and Fox in an effort to cover things up lied about it. They want you to think that they sell out every race. The old law of supply and demand yanno!

basically cops can do what they want to us. If they cross a line you get to sort it out later. If you need a lawyer to sort it out, well its coming out of your pocket. you know somehow I just cannot picture someone who is illegally carrying a weapon to do so openly. I dunno but I guess a criminal will conceal the weapon so they draw no attention to themselves. After all criminals wish to remain below the radar until they commit their crime.

Martinsville is a great track, it gives you an old timey feel being there. Some of you may remember about 5 years ago when Kevin Harvick was black flagged in the truck race and in anger dang near ran over some people behind pit wall. Well I was one of them he almost hit, but in spite of that I don't dislike him too much. They always talk about them red hot dogs sold at the track. Well I can testify they are the second most over rated hot dog I have ever eaten. (the smokey dogs at neyland stadium are the most over rated, yuck! ) As for bristol being the best race track, well I dunno about that. There is a track a little south of there called Darlington. That place seperates the men from the boys. I agree Bristol is hairy, but go 165 mph headed towards a cement wall at turn one and then try to go left, takes a lot more nerve and skill than a high banked .5 mile track does. Darlington should be on a national listing of protected and historic properties. It pisses me off to no end that the powers to be at NASCRAP took away a race from there to go to Califruity.
