    922r BS

bandito that is exactly what i thought. I have seen converted SKS's in gun shops. How can you really tell if there are home grown parts inside of it or if it is original. i dunno but I am guessing there are plenty of people at large who buy SKS's and try to make them tacticool not having the first clue that there even is such a thing as 922r. I saw a tacticool stock at a gunshow last year. Well actually a table full of them but the guy sold no other SKS parts. The stock had no literature with it advising that changing it out could be a problem. I think CTD sells a 922r kit along with a stock and that kit I guess would make the gun compliant. But interestingly the stock does not accomodate a bayonet. That would have to be removed first. i guess it is a good law. we all know how evil pistol grips are and of course there are killings and other crimes commited hourly with bayonets.
  3. I do not believe that a round will do much in a fire other than go pop, or bang. There is no chamber or barrel for the bullet to be forced through. I always thought the bullet would just kind of flop off the end of the casing and not really do too much.
  4. yep, just as I thought, WWB works just fine in guns. Dave I just weigh the bag, I skip the dumping part.

    Sad news

    nobody lives forever
  9. the girl on the radio Thursday and Friday mornings says Yo sometimes at the end of sentences. I doubt anyone is going to confuse Elizabeth Cook with what you describe though. I had never heard that nickname before for certain people.
  10. why would some guy at a gunshow have knives for sale only to certain groups? Answer - it makes people who are not part of those groups want one
  11. whats a Yo?
  12. why am I not suprised you bought a Coleman lantern, lol.
  13. what abotu a park district building? Yanno the kind of building at a little league complex? thats where our early voting poll was. I had my rig on and did not think of it until after I was leaving. Concealed was concealed this time though.
  14. during warm weather I tend to leave the garage door open. Our house sits on a hill similar to yours. It may sit open until three in the AM if I stay up that late. One night such as this I went outside to answer natures call and there were about 8 raccoons lined up ready to make an assault on my abode. Another time just a month or so ago I had the door open as well as the walk through door from the garage to the basement. I went outside for some reason or other and came back in and there was one of the neighbors dogs from up near the street sniffing around in the basement. Birds too, I get birds in the garage. No bad guys as of yet though. May not end well for someone if that were to happen.
  15. Mar's you ought to watch Pulp Fiction, it is a great movie. bruce Willis is trying to get out of town and his girlfriend forgets to pack his Dad's watch. willis goes back to get it and it sorts of goes downhill from there.
  16. if you meant mine, yes it is the original band
  17. Here is a pic of my Mom's Father's watch. It is a 10k gold filled Bulova. I have no idea if it is worth 5 dollars or 500 dollars. Probably somewhere in between. Engraved on the backside it says, "Naomi 12-25-64" Grandma gave it to him for Christmas that year. I was only 6 years old then but I remember him showing it off Chrsitmas day. The second hand is tiny and sits where the # 6 would be. I could wear it but I never do, the band is way too small. I suppose I could have it changed out. The face on it is very small too about 3/4 inch square. it keeps very good time still
  18. it showed on my end but I did it again using TGO as the host for the pic
  19. here is my family, post up yours
  20. I like hoarding guns and I have more ammo than that guy so I must be twice as nutty, lol
  21. RBC, i did not know a few things and Dotsun filled me in on some of it. After sleeping on it I figured I ought to delete lest anyone take it the wrong way, lol Glad you like it hahahahaha
  22. Good trigger control by Junior. In a fantasy race league I participate in I have Jr, Johnson and Gordon this week. Little Busch hurt me last week with his poor effort, I need to make up some points this week. Did you see the crash involving Michael Mcdowell in the 00 car. Man what a viscous hit. Thank goodness they had safer barriers in the turns. The car did as it is designed to do and came apart into a lot of pieces. Lots of pieces means it dissapated energy properly, probably savng the driver. [ame] [/ame]That track is one fast mother, oooof

    922r BS

Has anyone ever heard of anyone who did not follow 922r and gotten in dutch over it? How would the BATFE even know how many parts you changed out?
  24. interesting concept
  25. yanno what they say about men with big hands.... ps: vinegar is great for bluing removal, soak the part for fiteen minutes or more and the bluing is gone
