  1. not an auction site, I get it for twelve bucks!
  2. I dunno what it is and will buy it sight unseen for twelve dollars
  3. still carrying the Boker auto.  It has loosened up some and I am getting much better at opening it by using my left index finger.      I guess practice does make perfect,  or at least made this knife more usable.
  4. buy it.  I sold one for a little more than that and regret it. Several years ago but needed the cake to buy the oldest grandson things.  So it was a fair deal.   Wish I had another way though.  If it was today there is no way.   Someday I will have another.
  5. it is very easy to get from 150 to 99.   From 99 to 79 is hard real hard.     From 79 to 69 is why there are very few people playing on TV
  6.     Me and you buddy
  7. Used to be a golf whore   Somehow my hobby turned into my career and then after years and years I came to dislike my job,  Now I don't know the last time I have seen my golf clubs.   IIRC my last set of irons were Cleveland 588P's and Cleveland wedges,  My driver was a Boom Boom and I always was fond of a Ping Anser putter.
  8. this is the stupidest thing I have heard today.   Hmmm,  if we ban the carry of guns in cars then criminals will not carry guns in their cars.   Next thing you know gun buster signs will stop criminals.
  9. according to USA Today I am a failure.   My house is no where near worth 275K, I need to trade my truck for a 4X4 and and among my other failures I need to allot for a near 5K vacation. http://www.newser.com/story/190466/it-costs-130k-to-live-the-american-dream.html   I guess all I can do is to try to pay my bills on time, be the best grandfather and husband I can be and try to be a stand up guy.  I will never meet the other standards
  10. I know I am not well off.  I am pretty sure I am not poor. I am blessed with a great job and know I am overpaid.   I work for the best man in the world.  I assume I give him value in what I do.  Or surely he would replace me. Or at least not pay me what he does,  I never have asked for money.  Hired on and had no clue what my pay rate was.  Like I said I work for a great man.  There is no one I have ever known I think more of than Bob.   So I read I should not pay more than thirty% of my income for housing. I damn well pay more than that for my mortgage and all that comes with it. I cannot pay my mortgage with one pay check.  I have a 100K house (when I bought it), more than three acres wooded.  I have some debt but I manage. Great credit rating.  Banks want my business.  I contribute 8% to a 401K.  Got a few K in the bank.   I really thought I was solidly middle class,  Now from what i read I am pretty much considered poor   WTF?   what is middle class anymore?
  11. I'd love to have one.  It is my holy grail
  12. gotta go with Garuf' and Wish You Were Here.  I bet I smoked ten pounds of weed listening to that back in the day.
  13. I will agree that vinyl trumps CD's but mp3's got it all over CD's.    I have over 2500 songs on my laptop, in the cloud and on a thumbdrive in the truck.  I don't miss the clutter of CD's at all.   Books are over rated too.  The become boat anchors.  People are freaked out by having to get rid of them.  As a blanket statement I'd take E books over paper.   I really have to fight to modernize.  The old ways are hard to dump sometimes.
  14. so does Microsoft allow carry by their employees or are their facilities posted as off limits.  Seems to be the criteria around here for using anyone's services.   ;)
  15. get with it,  no one buys CD's anymore.   It is all about MP3's nowdays.
  16. opt for the flipper.   My Kershaw is as fast to open as the Boker and the flipper is truly ambidextrous.
  17. with no Roger Waters it really isn't Pink Floyd, still looking forward to it.
  18. who decides what crazy is?  what is the criteria?   I don't trust it one bit
  19. I can't comfortably or reliably open my auto with my left hand. It about wants to fly out of my grip when opening it,  I just can't get a good grip on it with my left hand.   But like most of us lefty's I am somewhat ambidextrous so the auto is for right handed use,    Sooner or later I will find one in lefty.   I carry a Kershaw Speedsafe for left handed use,  It is every bit as fast opening as the auto.
  20. I dunno how you answer this.
  21.     this,  very much this
  22. thankfully no one needs to articulate the BoR or much of anything else involved in the USA.   One of the great things about 'merica is you can be dumb as a rock and still have all the rights.
  23. don't those two countries subsidize the cost of fuel at the pump?
  24. sweet!    Glad I am not knife addicted.    :fingerleft:
  25. read some of the comments on that link.  It is no wonder NJ is a crap hole.   And I don't doubt der Governor is pandering, at least he pandered in the right direction.   Would not vote for him anyway.
