  1. Mars says You screwed up big. Mars actually makes a brilliant comment and now i do not get to read it. Screw this, I am going home
  2. prices look too good. Let me know how it works out if anyone orders from them.
  3. I would find it more believable if he had to walk around with that crap on him Pretty easy to give the appearance of concealment while standing still behind a table. FWIW I don't understand how anyone has trouble concealing one handgun anyway.
  4. I got a mail notice about jury duty twice in my life. Once in Florida. I followed instructions on the card and was told not to report. Once here in TN and I totally forgot about it, did not go and never heard any more about it. If I had to serve it would cause a hardship. The courts are not going to replace my income. I really can't afford to miss paychecks. There are a few people depending on me to bring home the bacon. Now if the boss was gonna pay me anyway I would be happy to do it.
  5. I'll be headed out to the woods tomorrow afternoon and then Friday Saturday and Sunday probably. Might take beer too!
  6. TDR that is a case color hardened steel frame. The grip strap and trigger guard are brass
  7. I for one would pay money to watch Ted debate gun rights with Rosie O'Donnel. Now that would be some entertainment right there. I saw a clip somewhere of Selleck debating gun rights and he did a great job too.
  8. show me a documented instance where someones car was broke into on account of a decal.
  9. site some evidence of this happening<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->
  10. sorry for your loss, thanks for the explanation
  11. OKAY what am I missing here? so far I have seen Len and Tungsten with solid pink avatars. NO pic just pink.
  12. The Pietta is fine, either in steel or brass. I see no problem whatsoever with a brass framed gun. With moderate loads the brass frame will last forever. By moderate I mean 20 grains. A full blown load is thirty grains. In all of my guns 20 grains runs most accurately anyway. But if brass bothers you or you think it will bother you then get to same pistol as XD's. If you don't want the '51 in .44 cal then check out Cabelas. They have a multitude of option in regards to BP revolvers and all the prices are very competitive.
  13. dude that picture is nasty.
  14. TDR, back in the civil war I think many people used the same guns. I don't think they were looked at as copycats. Heck if I did not already have two '51's I would be getting one like XD's. dang I wish I could have been there yesterday too.
  15. Why you are quite welcome, LOL get a good one!!
  16. Heck I am just happy if there is a heaven I still stand half a chance of getting in. I do what it says in the 7 laws, that stuff is easy. You Jews are all over it!!
  17. repeat after me " the .22 LR is your friend"

Good gosh Strick, where did'ja get that pic? uglygirls.com or something? " I wanna put my *ick in it" Oooh, don't want to reuse that glass
  19. Rabbi, Not to be a smart ass but could you explain this one a little? Does that mean the animal was alive when the limb was removed? Kind of like eating lobster, or eating an animal period?
  20. my bad, i did not mean to speak for the rabbi, but i have had a lot of interaction with Jews. Now I do not know if the ones I interacted with knew squat but a couple said I was not going to heaven due to being Christian. I recant my post to let the man speak for himself. I just read Bill's post and it appears Christians get in. I stand very much corrected. Glad Steelharp got past that 666 thing too!
  21. TDR, I would say it is not a bad deal, but I dunno about a good deal. I have not heard of Hawes (not that it in itself means anything.) It appears brass framed. You can order a NIB brass framed '51 in .44 from Cabelas for 139 bucks. About 150 including shipping. I just noticed that there appears to be a gap between the grip frame and the main frame. I don't know that it means anything. I would be curious what the internal parts look like. While not used much was it cleaned after it was used?? The three visible screws look like they have not been touched, again makes me wonder if it was cleaned after use. I might wave a 100 dollar bill at him and see if he bites.
  22. That sounds like playing both sides of the fence. I suggest the Rabbi would say Christians ain't going anywhere. ahhh the old dirt nap
  23. I would venture a guess that those numbers are so scewed as to be basically meaningless

I have a Weidemann Wall decoration for a bar in my basement, in the middle of the pic, sorry it does not show better. (camera is old and failing, sort of like me) At one point my next door neighbor worked for Weidemann Brewery which was located in Northern KY just across the rivver from Cincy. They had some benefit program to where employees got free or very low cost beer to take home with them and they also were allowed to drink while working. That guy came home stewed on many occassions. This was before my beer drinking days mind you but I remember vividly one time finding him laying face down in the driveway with the car still running and his legs still in the car. Seems he opened the door and passed out of the car. My grandpa drank Weidemann as I recall, along with Top Hat. Top Hat was a premium beer and came in clear bottles similar to High Life, the label featured a Top hat, cane and gloves IIRC. Years later in my early 20's we would get stubby brown bottles of Top Hat for like 4 bucks a case. Dunno why it was no longer a premium beer. And I also bought some Weidemann as recently as three years ago in Cincy. It was being brewed somewhere in Pennsylvania. I think the same brewery was making Little Kings too.

I never heard of Schmitz Beer. Being from Cincinnati I was weaned on Hudepohl Beer as well as Schoenling and Little Kings. Used to love the Little Kings. They came in 7 oz green bottles and you could pound them down. They also had a slightly higher alcohol content. At least that was the rumor. both of the breweries are gone now. Which is a real shame. Cincinnati at one time had some unreal amount of breweries. Maybe like 180 of them? Schoenling and Hudy were the last. Dad always had Hudepohl 14K in the fridge. Someone must have bought the rights to both beers as on occassion I have found Little Kings as well as Hudy Delight beer. I think I knew A/C thing about Randhurst Mall. I worked for a picture molding company up there and we had a customer in that mall.
