Great time today Phantom6!. Thanks for hosting us. Can't wait to do it again next time. Was nice meeting some new faces like Suntzu and Grimel. I apologize for not knowing the names of several other of our fine members in attendance. But they were fine fellows as well. It was also nice seeing Dotsun and his lovely wife as well as Scottech and his shooter son Corey. Shadow 12 showed up a little late but is always a lot of fun to be around. My daughter shot a pistol for the first time today. While she was not an expert marksman she showed a lot of imoprovement over the near 100 rounds of 9mm she shot. She also sent lead down range from my .357 and SAS .22 magnum. She told me that she enjoyed shooting the "Zebra" rifle best of all. And she did great with that. Ringing the heck out of the steel plates. Here is the only pic I have from today PS: Mike, get in touch with me when that "little" package arrives to your shop.

Me, I am drinking Milwaukees Best Light, yep Beast Light. Well hey its cheap. And backing it up with bourbon and water on the rocks. The bourbon at the moment is Corner Creek ( 8 year old ) and when that is gone I will switch to Old Bardstown, 90 proof.

The guy I work with a is a real good dude, I truly hope he will come out with us in July. One of these days I am going to go meet up with him at his Dads near Greenville ( GreenVegas). his Dads house is near 200 years old and they have been rebuilding some vintage log cabins on the land. Ought to be pretty cool to check that all out. They got a little range out back. He told me he likes AR's. I am guessing he has not been exposed to the whoomp of a Moisin Nagant or the thump from a Mauser. I totally agree you can't buy marksmanship, and learning on a battle rifle is a great way to develop good habits. I really would like instruction on using a sling.

I do not believe my vote will be based on one issue. I find that short sighted. Pretty much this time around I will not vote for the Dem candidate, but it is for a lot of reasons aside from guns. I do not believe in socialism, that is the biggest reason I will not vote for Obama. And to add, I have never in my life voted for a republican presidential candidate.

Anyway throwing a Vegas on the end of a cities name is lame. Now Las Corryton has a real ring to it.

in regards to bin laden I really do not think he will be captured alive. I can't even think that is a possibility. Why screw around with a trial or whatnot. Just get rid of the guy and stick him in an unmarked grave.
