This might be a good deal (Blackpowder)
Mike.357 replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in Curio, Relics and Black Powder
that is an extremely great price on that stuff, almost unbelievable. 100 balls alone are near 15 bucks depending on where you buy them. If I had a .36 I would be on it. -
I am guessing it had something to do with his sponsor

class a misdemeanor

Civil War belt/holster combo?
Mike.357 replied to Mark@Sea's topic in Curio, Relics and Black Powder
where did you see this at? Here or at a commercial site? -
When asked for ID do you show your carry permit or driver's license?
Mike.357 replied to a topic in General Chat
drivers license unless the HCP is germaine to the conversation. so far it has only been the DL not sure how to answer the poll, wording is sort of confusing -

so basically you would be at the mercy of any lawman who saw you possessing it. I agree with all the intent stuff, just makes me wonder

that whole thing is crazy. I have a fillet knife with about a 6 or 7 inch blade. Great knife, razor sharp. Makes short order of cleaning a fish. So am I illegal possessing that while fishing? It came with a sheath that goes on a belt. Bought the knife here in TN. I also have a knock off K-Bar knife. Big blade. Am I illegal possessing that while camping? Also came with a sheath and purchased here in TN How about the thousands of people who go to Gatlinburg and buy knives while on vacation. Are they illegal too? My nephew bought some Bowie knife in Cherokee that had a 12 inch blade on it. Of course he possessed it in Tennessee too. How does the law apply to these situation?

I predict prison and or a violent death for that young man What the heck is in his ear? A nickel!

You will probably catch me calling the race in Darlington the Southern 500 when it rolls around next year too. I am guessing I have forgotten more about NASCAR than you have ever known based on your ridiculous murder theory and the Gordon sucks comment. What are you, 14? Gordon is a 4 time champ. Like him or not that hardly qualifies as "sucks". And I am just dumbfounded by the murder comment. Trying hard to make friends around here are you?

WTF are you talking about? You got your wish, Edwards kind of took care of that. Just a racing deal really. That dang Kyle Busch is something else. I swear he is winning me over. The guy can flat out drive. Had to laugh at all the beer cans that were thrown his way on the cool down lap, LOL 6 wins at the 4rth of July, that is something else. Hats off to TNT for the best race coverage of the season. Setting the bar pretty darn high. And that Miss Sprint Cup girl gets hotter looking every week, WOW. Kyle got her wet tonight.

Man I gotta say I love the TNT coverage of this race. What do they call it? Wide open coverage. Pretty good stuff. all races ought to be like this. First commercial goin on now during caution laps. If another network had it we would have missed the 84 blowing a tire. Big suprise was Kyle Petty leading the race. LOL Of course he was driving the pace car. I am also guessing about 85% capacity in the stands. The economy and gas prices are really going to hurt attendance. going back to green soon, Go Junior

I am not so sure. I listened to the interview. They asked if she had a gun now. Her reply was " yeah, I am packing heat" She said it jokingly. But who knows, sometimes making a truthful admission jokingly it will not be taken seriously. I know if I lived in the hellhole she does I would have a gun every second of the day. Maybe she does have a gun??????? If she had stayed in Ohio I have no doubt her views would change. She is back in socialist Mass. and has backslid into old thought lines. I was kind of dissapointed by the radio interview.

what is on your adult beverage menu for the evening?
Mike.357 replied to Mike.357's topic in General Chat
I had a few or more Diet Beasts followed up after the chicken wing dinner with a few Old Bardstow86 proof on ice with water. Made for a very nice dessert. My crystal ball sees more of the same tonight, except I think ribs might be on the menu. -
what is it that calculates that for your Daniel?

You are thinking of Pale Rider and the Preacher character played by Eastwood. [ame]http://youtube.com/watch?v=P382tsARVdM[/ame] I have seen copies of this pistol in gun shops before. They were chambered in .38 Special. I think the sticker price was about $429 It is a different conversion than an R&D

I am talking about wanting to shoot .45LC out of a .410 shotgun barrel
-
Angel why were they stopping vehicles?
-
I don't think any of that crowd does black powder aside from XD
-
I wondered about the compliance thing too. Though I really doubt the first person has ever been busted for just having a SKS pimped out like that. But then again being the first one had been what has held me back from a Tapco stock

there in lies the problem at hand, LOL

Someone educate me as to why it would be worse to carry in a Federal building than in an office building or a WalMart. I got to be missing something. No one really seems bothered by this one. exactley

Don't you need to cut a hole in each end, let it drain a while then replace lost fluid with alcohol? -
There are a couple of revolvers that will shoot .45LC and .410. I have a .410 and wonder if it will handle .45LC
-
I have a 1858 Remington that is a .44 caliber. I shoot .454 balls through it using 20 to 30 grains of the black as a propellant. For that same revolver I bought a R&D conversion cylinder that allows me to shoot cartridge rounds chambered in .45LC. Now mind you the conversion cylinder cost as much as the BP revolver did. But it dropped right in and shoots smooth as silk. And if I please I can shoot a cylinder of the holy black, do a preacher like quick cylinder change, and throw 6 rounds of .45LC downrange. It is far and away my favorite revolver. Mine is a Pietta in steel that is blued, conversion cylinder too. I believe though they are both available in SS. The conversion cylinder is specific to the manufacterer. Either Pietta or Uberti. Same thing. Both are percussion and both can be called muzzle loaders. Though I prefer the term "front stuffer" I think i am shooting for about 20 cents a round. Gotta be on the lookout for inexpensive balls to shoot. If you look you can find them for 10 to 12 bucks a hundred. Caps are 4 to 6 bucks a hundred and powder is anywhere from 17 to 25 bucks a lb. I think I get about 350 rounds out of a lb. Maybe more if I powderpuff the rounds. and of course there is no 4473 involved for the purchase of the revolver or the conversion cylinder.
