  1. radio is not dead.  Commercial radio is headed to life support though   I listen to Pandora at work and at home.  My truck is satellite equipped for Sirius.  Aside from the few hours at work when my phone is not hooked up is the only time I listen to FM.  Is there still AM radio?   Truckin Bozo do you have a copy Good Buddy?
  2. first off they are going to have to prove the gunshot is what killed him.   I wonder if other old age stuff helped him along.
  3.     I respect your opinion.   As well as your bravery to state it here on a conservative-constitutional based gun forum.    Don't you think the thug breaking through your door will have it anyway if he wants it?   He will still have that access.  What is the difference if he gets in on Ebay or somewhere else?  They find a way to get guns.   laws only affect the law abiding.   Have fun at the game!
  4. why can't I own body armor just because I want it and can afford to buy it?   Dave, do you seriously believe that banning things stops people from using them anyway?     I doubt anyone can get this through to you.     What else should be banned?  .45 ACP?   WASR 10's?   AR pistols?  Rocks?  Sharp sticks?
  5.   I like grumpy but prefer crotchety.   :pleased:
  6.   that is a perspective I had not thought about.  Nice post!
  7.   Willis and his manhood are in no danger   LOL
  8. learned the basics of sling use at a CMP clinic several years ago.  It is definitely a technique that works.
  9. do you think they pay any attention to these petitions?   The Man always knows what is best for us. ;)
  10. and I was expecting the old joke about asking the pharmacist for rubbers then showing up on his doorstep to take his daughter out.
  11. Mikey I will guess if there was no FB you would still be as successful as you are today.  people seek out talent.  They don't need FB to do that. People made their way long before social media made someone rich.  The people you found with FB would have been found without it.   I think you sell yourself short.   George Jones did not need FB.
  12. just heard that on the news.  Hinckley likely will face murder charges now.  Hope he is convicted
  13.     if they are friends there would be no trouble keeping up with them.   I posit they are acquaintances at best.   Just saying.
  14. and the upside to FB is what?   really?  You cannot pick up the phone and call people you care so much about?
  15.   and the downside is?
  16. awesome Gordon,  I really like it.  Huge improvement over the stock sight
  17. boy did this get off topic, LOL    Not two cycle, but rather four.  I needed to use the Scrambler yesterday to move OS's little boat.  Have not run it since April or May I guess.   I have let it sit longer than that before and it will start easy enough.  But not yesterday.   Grrrr.....   Ended up pulling the body off of it to make access to the spark plug easier.  Pulled the plug and wire brushed it to like new again.  Wish I had an extra on hand to just swap out.  Making a mental note to pick one up for next time.   But cleaning it up seemed to do the trick as I got it started  Took a lot of cranking but it ran fine.   Kinda funny, but the Polaris method of removing the plug does not involve removing the body.  You supposedly can stick the plug socket and a bar from their tool kit through this little opening above the frame and below the gas tank and remove the plug.  I dunno how that is supposed to work.  I can't get my hand in there without scrapping skin off then I find there is not enough space to move the tool enough to start unthreading the plug.   It must be possible but no way for me.  Much easier to spend ten minutes removing the body and un-bolting the gas tank.  Do that and the plug is there for the taking.   Took the opportunity to change the oil and filter too.  Now I am out of excuses to not take a ride on it.
  18. the poll is the dumbest thing I saw today.
  19. I am not much of a knife guy but I gotta admit this folder chubbed me up a bit.   Congrat's
  20. I see nothing attractive about renting.   Owning ( or paying a mortgage) provides stability. Stability is comforting.
  21. zombies are so 2010

    John Galt

I read the book.  She could have told the story in at least half the pages.  It is long winded and very boring in many parts.   The movie has been much better.
  23. cool use of the drone.  One of my customers has one, he uses it for aerial shots of real estate.
  24. to bad Lamar, not good enough for me.   Vote Carr not Lamar!  I already did.
