  1. Well if you would shoot it rather than continue throwing it at the target this might have never happened.
  2. thats original
  3. I thought Glocks were perfection? And if that is the case you must have just ruined the thing.
  4. never heard of it, have never said it before
  5. the thin blue sticker is about the same as a FOP decal or one of the badge thingys people put over their license plates. I think it smacks of elitism. People do it hoping it will get them out of a ticket. I know a couple of people that have the badge on their plate because a relative is a cop. They clearly admit it is to get out of a potential ticket. An actual LEO does not need any of this stuff. When they get pulled over I have no doubt the first thing they do is make it known they are a LEO. And if they did not do this to attempt to get out of a ticket they would not mention it. Not that I thiink there is anything wrong with professional courtesy.
  6. I never heard the expression "Meat and three" until this thread appeared.
  7. dude I am just kidding, you believe what you want the part about me wanting one of them 26 shooter flew a little too high I guess
  8. Now I am totally bummed. I was ready for charred cow flesh and I find out that the beef is for tomorrow. She is making pulled pork BBQ YUCK!! I have threatened to go get some carry out.
  9. The wife had a couple of big hunks of cow flesh marinating. Not sure what cut they are. I hope they have some marbling. I am betting that any minute now I will get the call to go fire up the grill. I think she is making onion rings and fried pickles too. Strick says You oughta have breaded and fried the tilapia, it would have been better.
  10. You all think you have it bad in Memphis and Nashville as far as getting every Titan game no matter what. Well here we get stuck with the Titans and the Colts. Does not matter that a great meaningful game is on the schedule, if the Titans are playing we get them. I can live with that because they are Tennessee's team and all. But if by some miracle the stinking Titans are not in that same time slot as the meaningful game then we get the freaking Colts. And of course that is because the almighty Peyton (bow when you say that boy) Manning is on the field. oooohhh Peyton... And besides all that crap, at least you can know for a fact that your team will win one game at minimum. No way, I mean NO WAY will your crappy team lose to the Bungals.
  11. kind of funny you believe in one fantasy but not another, just sayin heck they said it on the History Channel, you think they make stuff up. Phantom I am looking for one of them 26 shooters, you got a source?
  12. Unbelievable the gaffs this guy's advisors commit. Kind of scary to think what his advisors will have him doing should he be elected I do have some comments on flag protoco, my comments are in red mingled in with the rules §176. Respect for flag No disrespect should be shown to the flag of the United States of America; the flag should not be dipped to any person or thing. Regimental colors, State flags, and organization or institutional flags are to be dipped as a mark of honor. (a) The flag should never be displayed with the union down, except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property. Absolutely Obamas ticket is a upside down flag ( The flag should never touch anything beneath it, such as the ground, the floor, water, or merchandise. I noticed last night a skydiver towing the flag in Bristol at the track. The flag certainly hit the ground, though they did make effort to gather (wad) it up quickly. © The flag should never be carried flat or horizontally, but always aloft and free. I have seen this many times, The Super Bowl most prominently where a huge flag is carried flat by many people, certainly not aloft and free (d) The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery. It should never be festooned, drawn back, nor up, in folds, but always allowed to fall free. Bunting of blue, white, and red, always arranged with the blue above, the white in the middle, and the red below, should be used for covering a speaker’s desk, draping the front of the platform, and for decoration in general. Wearing apparel? I am sure we have all seen people wearing flags. I can't find the thing online but I have seen bedding designed as an American flag (e) The flag should never be fastened, displayed, used, or stored in such a manner as to permit it to be easily torn, soiled, or damaged in any way. Anyone own a car flag? (f) The flag should never be used as a covering for a ceiling. (g) The flag should never have placed upon it, nor on any part of it, nor attached to it any mark, insignia, letter, word, figure, design, picture, or drawing of any nature Can't say I have seen any of these at least not out in a public setting (h) The flag should never be used as a receptacle for receiving, holding, carrying, or delivering anything. I have seen mailboxes that look like flags (i) The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever. It should not be embroidered on such articles as cushions or handkerchiefs and the like, printed or otherwise impressed on paper napkins or boxes or anything that is designed for temporary use and discard. Advertising signs should not be fastened to a staff or halyard from which the flag is flown. The flag is used all over in advertising. I have a table cloth thatis a flag design and I know at the time it was purchased there were also matching paper plated and napkins. (j) No part of the flag should ever be used as a costume or athletic uniform. However, a flag patch may be affixed to the uniform of military personnel, firemen, policemen, and members of patriotic organizations. The flag represents a living country and is itself considered a living thing. Therefore, the lapel flag pin being a replica, should be worn on the left lapel near the heart. Doesn't the NFL have flags on the backs of helmets? (k) The flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning. How many flags do we see flying in frotn of banks posts offices etc.. that are tattered and dirty I guess I am just pointing out that the Democrats are not the only ones violating flag protocol. I do not see much anger over these examples. Just saying....
  13. the three little words I have longed to hear
  14. Not really the proper subforum for that type of question, you might try the Curio, Relics and Black Powder subforum. you also might want to make your question a little clearer or more specific. After the Civil War takes in a lot of years. BTW Welcome to TGO
  15. They are Moisin Nagant M-44 carbines that shoot a 7.62x54r round They are fairly dripping with cosmoline so it appears.
  16. i dunno but shouldn't he actually have the nomination officially before announcing his running mate? I hope Hillary pulls some political mumbo jumbo and aces him out somehow. It would be very entertaining.
  17. Suntzu loves cleaning cosmoline. You ought to invite him up for a cleaning party
  18. maybe I can come up with some lame excuse to not go

    NEW LCP

I want one so bad I can't stand it. Got the money for it sitting right here. No luck so far finding one near me.
  20. Dec. 21, 2012
  21. I dunno about that. but all the ones I know in Oak Ridge are fat.
  22. Not if there are others I am there with?
  23. I can host maybe two people here. Certainly none of the rapid fire killing guns you all shoot can be shot here anyway. So Norris sounds better than my hillbilly shooting range. So it is Norris then? Can someone give me an address or a map link?
  24. That whole thing is messed up. Too bad John did not have his ducks in a row. I drive to OR and Kingsport to shoot, I am sure I can make a trip to the Norris watershed as well. I echo the previous comments about any help you may need. I can even offer a decent truck to use instead of that pos George drives.
