  1. KWW67 said if we all did that this place would be pretty darn dull.
  2. I dunno much about signs when entering parking lots, well other than directional signs. I am paying attention to the wack jobs out there driving.
  3. wow a little sensitive are we? As for the bunny, it only has ONE pancake on its head. the other pancake is on a pancake not on the bunnys head.

+1 But that being said I am glad you grew a pair and went and shot the thing
  5. I have relocated three times in 20 years, never is easy. Goodbyes are hard to take after a while. Good luck with the new gig.
  6. I dont understand how his bracket is even newsworthy. The guy is a basketball fan like millions of other. Who also take time from their workday to fill the thing out. I am not begrudging this against him. I am sure he had enough time left to worry about the economy and how to cover his hind end. It seems he also picked UT in the first round.
  7. Probably because gun and powder confiscation was the straw that broke the camels back. Once the crown started doing that the revolution really ratcheted up. I believe guns and ammo were the reason the colonies finally revolted.
  8. If you have not done so yet, strip the rifle down to the last piece you can safely do. I bet you may find the trouble there. I had the same trouble with a M1 carbine and it ended up being ammo related trouble. Have nevr had a problem since. But stripping cleaning and lubing will help Remember, grease what slides, oil what turns.
  9. I have 100 rounds of .380 but no gun to shoot it out of, LOL
  10. Can't wait to shoot yours again
  11. For me this ability is what seperates leaders from incompetents. At least as far as presidents go. Sometime during his reign he will have to decide about a military response. Does he have the balls or sense as to when to pull the trigger? IMHO, we ought to put pill boxes along the border with fields of fire that intersect. And shoot anything that tries to cross.
  12. this one is kind of personal
  13. shoot the heck out of it. It is not going to hurt it any.
  14. There has been a series of articles in the News Sentinel as well. I don't care for Obama or his policies, I don't like these gov't bailouts, but I do read the news to see what is going on in the world. Do you read a headline and then stick your head in the sand? Where is the bitching anyway? All I did was comment same as anyone else in this thread.

I never know what to think what someone says their GF or wife won't let them do something. I guess I am blessed. In 21 years of being married to the same woman she has never one time forbid me doing something. I would go shoot the new gun and GF be damned.
  16. Dang it Mark!
  17. wow can you say thread resurrection?
  18. I have been reading this stuff since this morning. The guy was a lifelong criminal. So he made bootleg liquor. I understand everyone is all warm and fuzzy about it and all. He was on TV and semi-infamous. What if he spent his lifetime growing pot? Would there still be all these sappy sad testimonials? Personally I do not see why distilling some alcohol is that awful, and I could care less if someone grows acres of weed. I just really don't get the mourning over some old ass bootlegger.
  19. I was there a few weekends ago and I did not see one "no guns" sign. I would recommend to stay concealed though. But have it handy entering or leaving the the hotel.
  20. How did you not see OhShoot and his TGO sign?
  21. nuclear weapons and sarin gas are not firearms. The second amendment has no bearing on the legality of possessing these devices. Seriously there is no point in responding to you anymore. You are not here for reasons you claim.
  22. mrnick says That line has been drawn. It has been in place for a fairly long time. It is called the second amendment. mrmick also said I think it unfair to try to characterize the right to keep and bear arms by using this as an example. Nuclear weapons are certainly considered destructive devices and governed by other laws. A firearm can be aimed and used with little or no collateral damage. A nuclear weapon cannot.
  23. I will be in Kingsport for the E Tn TGO shoot. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17291 the nerve of the gunshow promoters trying to conflict with our scheduling.
  24. Not to worry, keeping the gun in DA it takes heroic effort to pull the bang button.
  25. Another thing I noticed. Lots of Federal Bulk 550 Rd boxes. Several sellers having lots of it. Best price I saw was 20 bucks. I would have bought it but I am flush with .22's Since SUNTZU mentioned it, there was a LOT of Walmart ammo for sale there. I have never seen WWB in 100 rd packs, much less those in .45auto. And these Federal .22's
