  1. i kinda thought Popeye was sort of adult/kid like The Flintstone's.   reaching to two generations was what made it great.
  2. 30K members?  50 knives?   Buy a knife or shut up   ;)   LOL
  3. thanks Willis.     I really really really hope this works out.  I want my very unique knife.   This is an awesome piece and I am truly surprised a forum this size can't cover fifty knives. Opening it to outsiders should easily put us over the top.  I hope.    I absolutely appreciate you effort.
  4. shalom and amen
  5. their shipping has gotten more reasonable.   They use a lot of bubble wrap.  Big bubbles.   I doubt Uncle Larry is missing any angles.
  6. where in the story does it say a TSA type search?    I see barriers and checkpoints.     Knoxville on occasion has checkpoints near the courthouse when there are public protests scheduled.
  7.    lighten up Francis.  No you would not.   I believe in Memphis you go through security to walk down Beale Street.  I am not sure a larger security perimeter for the WH is over the top.
  8. looks like their standard shipper.
  9. why in the world would you not wear a seat belt?
  10. I stand corrected,  never seen it first hand.     What I have seen first hand is more like "meh"
  11. Someone needs to show me the semi auto pistol,  pretty sure he can't carry that.   Aside from that, people in TN don't pee themselves when someone with a gun walks by.  Heck especially if it is this guy.  He can't even have bewlitts with him on his little jaunts.
  12. typical response.  Do it our way or stay home.
  13. yup Eric and that cost is not going to do anything but increase.  The knife is a finite amount
  14. saw them when I lived in Boca Raton years ago.  Pretty awesome sight to see the B17 and B25 flying over the golf course.   I went to the airport the next day to see the planes.  It was really cool to climb aboard and be able to spend time inside of them  I wish I had taken a ride
  15. I would definitely recommend this knife over a girlfriend.
  16.     so they would let anyone on the field to pray to the Pasta God, Allah, Loki, or whoever?  I doubt this.
  17. Who Dey!       You guys are in for a long season.  Locker is terrible
  18. I must be missing something then.   I am not sure what money has to do with this discussion.   You claimed  "If you don't believe in something that's fine, don't force it on everyone else. "    And a rational interpretation of that is that you see it as fine to force beliefs on others.   If cheerleaders or anyone else wants to gather and say a prayer I doubt too many people have a problem with it.  When they do it mid field and use the PA system then it  bothers people.   Is it possible one or more of the cheerleaders deep down aren't comfortable praying at midfield?   Do you think if there were any feeling that way that they would voice up their opinion?  Of course they wouldn't.  No kid wants to be singled out.  I doubt many adults want that either.    Pray all you want.  Just don't ram it down in my ears.
  19. and if you do believe in something it is fine to force it on others.
  20. bad echo in here,  LOL
  21.   do some research. Some counties pay a bounty for ears.   I have heard them at night as long as I have lived here.  Lately I hear the yipping during the day.   We have seen them on the porch and drinking out of the fountain thing in the front yard.
  22. since you asked,   prayer has no place in a public forum.     You can pray to your god, I can pray or not pray as I see see fit.  Do it in private.  I am not educated in the bible, but isn't there something in there about not being public in showing you faith?  Maybe I did not word it right, but if it is true you you still get my gist.    I went to a private Catholic high school.  I do not recall prayers over the PA before sporting events.     I do not go along with any threats of violence for much of any reason.   You believe in the man in the sky, I don't.  My belief should not be forced on you, nor your's on me.     Can't we all get along?
  23. From personal experience the WASR is a fine rifle.
  24. sorry for your loss dude
