  1. I don't understand this whole thing. We were not allowed to carry in national parks, then very briefly we were allowed. Then the libs got a judge to sign an injunction to stop the national park carry. Now the Democrats introduced legislation about credit cards and attached a deal to let us carry in national parks again? The CC will be seperated from the CCW but both will pass and the Big O will concur. Do I have this right?
  2. we could maybe move it to the second saturday I am open to breaking tradition
  3. good morning Mac! I would vote for Royal Blue as I have never been there. But we might need someone who has been there before to go to guide us in. Maybe someone else will have an idea too.
  4. I do believe that 10k is the limit in cash that can be carried legally out of the country I don't have 30k rounds yet, but I am hopeful to have that much someday
  5. I have never ever bought a registered gun
  6. The third Saturday would be June 20. Anyone want to do a shoot? If so suggest a location and a time. EDIT, TO ADD It has been suggested we move this to second saturday. ***JUNE 13 *** Fine by me. Post up and express your opinion.
  7. just say no, to gun registration. Don't do it, just don't do it. I am hopeful to by more guns and ammo Saturday
  8. last time I bought wheel weights they cost about 100 bucks each for five of them.
  9. i have to say, I am a tin foil hatter of the first order, but this is way over the top. Flat out not true. I have withdrawn cash in that amount and nothing ever came of it.
  10. I was going to do a spreadsheet but I kind of figured it was overkill to keep track of 11 rounds.
  11. I admit I am about shocked you don't have a .22 revolver. I am thinking you need one. I know somewhere you can look next weekend, LOL
  12. I would give the guy 45 bucks , where is gordonsville? Just looked it up too far
  13. I have handled and shot one. I suppose it is worth 200 bucks if a Ruger SAS is worth near 400. They have some funny safety thing on the frame. And the action was not as smooth as a Ruger. Fit and finish did not seem as nice as a Ruger either. but for 200 bucks I suppose it would make a fair plinker. if you feel a need to shoot a .22 revolver you can borrow mine anytime you want. I will bring it out next time we get together to shoot.
  14. hmmm oddly enough the videos are not there anymore
  15. I just did a test post of a you tube video and it worked just how I thought. Just copy the url and paste it into the post like regular words. PS: What was wrong with his garand? Mine had problems too but it was fixed by swapping out the trigger group
  16. well maybe if I get lucky I can find the earrings anyway.
  17. thats cool Daniel, I am glad someone else made it. April 15 was my birthday too.
  18. Way back in the 60's I remember Grampa quitting smoking. He used dowel sticks cut down to cigarette length. They were also stuck in the wooden tips from Havatampa cigars so he could get some tobacco flavor. Kind of funny but when I quit over a year ago health was the big reason. This time around it is because of the money. if I won the dang lottery I would be back to smoking in about 10 seconds. I really do not want to pay that 5 bucks a pack.
  19. why you been holding out on us TJ?
  20. quitting is easy, it is the staying quit part that is hard.
  21. I am calling BS on this. And what firearms legislation has the Big O laid on the table?
  22. there was some backsliding there for a while, but been back on the straight and narrow for a little while again now. I am hopeful.
  23. I know I want a smoke now, some days more so than others. Right now I would hot box the hell out of one.
  24. I think the shows at the Expo Center are better than the ones at Chillhowee. Probably all the same sellers but it is bigger and the lighting is better. I expect to see all the people who have hoarded ammo from Walmart there trying to sell WWB for twice the price. I will not be buying it. I hope they are stuck with it personally. Would like to find a new chin strap and net for the M1 steel pot I recently was given. There might be a certain long gun I will buy if I find one for a fair price. Not saying what that is as I do not want to jynx it. And I am sure a bayonet for a Garand will be out of the question.
