If you like it I say buy it. I am sure you can find one cheaper, no doubt you can find one that costs more. If you like it then it is worthwhile. You may want to make sure numbers match on the parts, but to me that is not a deal breaker. I do like bolts and chambers to have matching numbers. And that stock cannot be rougher looking than what I have is, LOL. Is it 125 plus tax and tics? Or is that out the door? Forgot to mention, look at the bolt face. If it is bright and shiny it may have never been shot. Slight pitting on the face would be normal. My bolt face looks like hell. Unless someone de-cosmolined it you will not see much looking at the bore.

I like it, combination gas grill, charcoal grill and smoker all rolled into one. That thing has it going on. How many racks under the hoods?

OH SNAP!, (been dying to say that) I agree. We shot at that distance Saturday and I was pretty pleased with the grouping I was getting. Definitely minute of man. I even had one round out of a set of twenty or so that was smack in the center of the bulls eye. Which really only proves the old axiom that a blind horse finds the barn once in a while

We have a Kenmore Grill. I dunno about BTU's or anything like that. I keep it in the garage when not in use. So it has never been in foul weather. I think it will last for as long as I care to keep it. The feature we bought it for is a big fail though. It had lights inside the hood. The handle holds batteries and has a little switch. It worked great for a while. But soon the heat or whatever got to the lights and they no longer work. But when the lights worked they were AWESOME. Really helped a lot with cooking after the sunsets. I hope you enjoy your new grill. Ours also has the ceramic cooking surface. It is nice. Makes a lot of difference.

I hope you make it Froggy. Look forward to meeting you. I always bring a .22 on every trip to the range. I am also guessing the Garand, Mosin 91/30 and something in .45 auto will be coming along.

I agree with everything in Garufa's post. The things are relatively inexpensive. Ammo is as affordable as a .30 cal rifle cartridge gets. Ammo is available. It has a large ass boom when you discharge it. It is reliable and accurate. Can't ask for much more. I love the rubber buttpad. While it serves the same purpose it does not have the wussified look to it as a slip on sleeve would have. In other words it is manly looking! I would be guessing mine saw some kind of action. Made in 1939, the matching bolt definitely shows wear from lots and lots of shooting. The bore is still good, someone took fine care of it. And the forestock has been broken and skillfully repaired. Almost looks like two different stocks were culled to make one. There was almost no bluing left on it. Anyway, all of that makes me like the rifle even more. I think "hype" is not the word for it. Hype is defined as the following I think the Mosin Nagant rifle is a fine firearm, lots of history and lots of fun to shoot. No hype, just fact.

I recently got off the phone with the Norris PD. I was calling to make sure a pass could be purchased on Saturday. I was advised of the following. A pass can be purchased Saturday at the Norris police station, but accessing the building itself to buy the pass may be difficult. The Norris community has a 4th of July street party Saturday that runs from 7 am until 11 pm. (I am guessing the party is on the street that leads to the police station.) They start selling passes tomorrow for the new year (Their year runs from july through june). I am going to run up there either tomorrow morning or Friday afternoon to get my pass and key. Just keeping you all up to date.

I know someone who has two of them, somday I hope to maybe be able to talk him out of one. They are beautiful. I really enjoyed comparing the 1911 to the 1911A1. Comparing the differences and all.

It is Norris somehwere. I have been once but OhShoot made me ride blindfolded. So obviously I do not know where it is actually. OK, I did not ride blindfolded, but I still do not know where it is other than it is in Norris, about 10 minutes away from the police station. I know how to get to there. And they will direct me to the range I am sure. Only been there once but it seemed okay. They have a target stand at 200 yards, 100 yards and a pistol area off to the side. Shooting benches are concrete and are covered. Ample parking. I believe at 30 bucks a year it is worthwhile. Heck I choose to pay to shoot it must be a fair deal, since I can walk out my front door and blast away if I want to. I understand being the 4th people already will have plans. I am not epxecting much if any of a turnout. I have no life, and am going regardless.

I am going to Norris this Saturday. I want to get an annual pass and a key to the gate to the Norris range. ( believe it is 30 bucks for the annual or 15 bucks for a daily pass) Any and all of you are welcome to join me. I am pretty sure OhShoot will be coming with me, and I have personally invited 4 or 5 others. I am thinking 11 am or 12pm, meet at the range. Be there or be square! come help me crater SUNTZU'S spinner target.

It looks a little small, even for two people. I prefer a grill with at least two racks. Mine has three. The other racks make it nice to stash food that is already completed why you are finishing up the main course or the garlic bread.

might be old news but I never saw it before. Pretty awesome. Not only what she does at her age but that she has kept that car for over 40 years. Now days there is a mindset of trade it in every two or three years. I would love to see the service records on the motor. I have a log of every bit of service done to my truck since I bought it new in 98. Mostly oil changes.

I wonder if they will pull all his commercials?? No doubt another pitchman will step up

I have a Crossman target pistol. It shoots BB's or bolts. We shoot bolts at the dart board, LOL

only 50 rounds of Federal .22 today. SHot them through the little single shot Savage rifle. I love that gun anyways, lots of fun to shoot and pretty darn accurate. Would have shot more but a storm kicked up, and I am out of the mood now.

I guess I should come up for air once in a while, LOL. I swear I never heard the name before.
