  1. can't add anything to 56's post that would be worthwhile. But then why should this post be any different than all the other ones I make. I have a model 60 and it was my first firearm. I have never had the trouble you describe.
  2. millions of people out of work and 70below is trying to be a comedian
  3. the new ammo is here! the new ammo is here! the new ammo is here!. I just got the word delivery was made on some Ruskie ammo for the 91/30. Gonna make some go bang tomorrow. Can't wait to pry the can open.
  4. I am definitely bringing the Mosin Nagant, and I found a pack of bottle rockets in a drawer!
  5. Great reminder, I have some .30 carbine tracers in the bunker. Might make a fine show Saturday night.
  6. I knew it! And that is Diane Lane next to you.
  7. looks like there will be three or four of us anyway. I could take a .22 and occupy myself for hours anyway. Going to take SUNTZU's spiiner target and crater it some more too. Might just get a hole in it yet.
  8. and moving to Texas is going to solve what?
  9. near as I can tell all wine tastes nasty. So finding a new favorite shold never be a problem. I think my dislike for wine is why they trust me to be out there with all of it. LOL
  10. did as lot of crud come out of that rifle Rightwinger? I have heard good things about Kroil. This Mosin i have now has good lands and grooves but the bore is not so bright. Forgot to add, no that adds to the fact not the hype. Take him out shooting it again!!
  11. I think they launch anvils amongst other things. Would love to see that. I think I can bypass any Museum traffic by going up 441 instead of the interstate. I have a back way into the range. Got double secret directions from a Norris LEO. (okay not so secret but it sounds better that way)
  12. I hope not, I have not been there lately. That spring was used before there were white men around these parts. It is good water too.
  13. who is this?
  14. it would be nice but there will never ever ever be another Big Red Machine
  15. all you are missing is a Mosin Nagant
  16. pretty sound advice there. I would test it tomorrow for breakfast, and if it is edible get more.
  17. no fair using Shannon to get extra posts even though I bet he would see humor in it
  18. RIP Marswolf
  19. I will not share that information, can't have all kinds of people onto my secret places. Most of them are well off the road on private property. One is well know, Love Spring on Loves Creek Rd over by Easttown Mall.
  20. Chuck Norris would be scared to shoot a Mosin Nagant
  21. just trying to keep up with Canyn, Strickj, and OhShoot as well as the rest of the Top-10 PS: has anyone ever told you that you look like Dale Jr in your avatar?
  22. the opening paragraph in OS's post hits the nail on the head. I have drank stored tap water a year later out of my canteen, ( plastic army surplus) and it tasted fine and there were zero side effects. Chlorine is your friend. Aside from that I am aware of several springs in my immediate vicinity.
  23. I think the hype died off. I have made half the posts in this thread.
  24. 9mm is really just a .380magnum As for a .45, just get a round near the bad guy and they will drop over dead. Actually hit them with it and body parts will fall off. Its quite the scene. I would opt for a .45. Used guns are easy to find Look at the for sale stuff here or just shop around in gun stores.
  25. boatme, buy by the case and stock your cellar. Make fewer trips and always ask for a discount from the retailer. Anybody buying wine, whether it is by the bottle or case ought to ask for and receive a discount. Most reputable retailers will discount up to 10% if you just ask. Price matching is a good way to save a buck or two also. If your retailer will not price match you ought to find somewhere else to buy.
