  1. All of my ammo is surplus. Some steel core some just FMJ. I believe Walmart sells x54r soft points
  2. ( okay, lets keep this mostly on topic) Got the 91/30 ready to. I put a touch of grease on the side of the bolt for luck. The broken shell extractor and mallet are in the range bag. IIRC I have four different types of x54r ammo packed too, with some Russian stuff meeting me at the range. I am curious as to which will group the best and which shoots too point of aim the best. Last time I shot I noticed that most rounds seem to go high and left at 100 yards. I tried to move the front sight to account for this but the dang thing will not budge. I used a punch and a hammer and no luck. I will have to use KY windage to get on the bullseye then. I still have had no luck finding an old Russian woman to step off 100 arshins for me though.
  3. Heck Mac, I got him in my cell phone address book, LOL You never know when you may need legal representation.
  4. good deal Daniel, looking forward to it.
  5. I am packed and ready to go. Just waiting for my date to come get me. Got lots of ammo, lots of guns. targets and oh yeah, some bottle rockets.
  6. Yeah, like you don't already have gay websites in your favorite places.
  7. I say that about covers it. The old lady went to Cincinnati for the weekend. I thought I would have a couple of days with peace and quiet, beer drinking and scratching. (Okay I am doing the latter.) But this dang puppy of hers is about to drive me up the wall. She whines and cries for attention. Let her out and she is liable to take off after some unknown scent with no regards to my futile attempts telling her to stop. She jumps on my lap smashing my nads at least once every hour. There is no telling what she is getting into unless she is in my immediate eyesight. She is 100X worse than kids. But her annoying little fanny is going back in the box in about an hour. I am off to the range to have some Independance Day gun fire.
  8. This website will give you complete step by step takedown instruction. Marlin Model 60 Disassembly I have only done this twice to mine. After the second time i really did not see the point to it. A good foaming cleaner will get in all the nooks and crannies easier and as effectively as taking the thing apart will do.
  9. Big Poppa, I did some research and the manual that comes with the Redhead gun safe has no procedure for resetting the combination. According to the manual the door must be open to use the feature that allows you to change the code. But all is not lost. To show some discretion here I will PM you with pertinent information. I really do not think this should be posted for general consumption.
  10. Seriously, in what way are post counts relevant anyway? If someone like Canyn has 18,000 posts does that give him more credibility? And if some noob has 4 posts does that make what he has to say a bunch of BS? I like RW's idea. As for puppies, rainbows, unicorns and the like I think you all need to go to www.iamgayashell.com Not that there is anything wrong with that
  11. my model 60 feeds most anything reliably, my round of preference is Federal Champion. It is a 40 grain lead bullit. Comes in a brick of ten 50 round boxes. I would not use mini mags in it. Waste of money just for targets or cans. I have run most every kind of .22 through mine over the years, none stood out as a problem.
  12. I believe 61 comes in from I-75 at the Norris exit.
  13. take 61 to Lambden Road. Turn left on Lambden. Turn right on Red Hill Road Turn left onto Upper Clear Creek Rd. At least thats what 5-0 told me PS: I repainted your spinner. You can have first shot at it.
  14. Daniel have you read this entire thread?
  15. that is a great looking stock! You also have the long tube magazine. I think it holds 17 rounds. Now days I think they hold 13 or something like that. And the stocks are featureless. Nice find!
  16. Jim Morrison died. I love his music. Here is my favorite Doors song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDN9y2vTdUs
  17. IMHO she is a disaster as a national candidate. Quitting in mid term does not endear her to me and she will have to work extremely hard to garner any support from me. If I was a constituent of hers I would be pissed. Looks to me like the going got tough so she got going. maybe I am wrong. Who knows? People from Alaska are a little squirrely anyways
  18. can you post a good pic of it? I would love to see the stock and the squirrel. Mine is a Marlin but I have no rodent on mine. Does it have a metal or plastic trigger guard? Any idea of the year it was made?
  19. sleep is over rated. says the man who prefers bedtime by 9 pm on a work night
  20. Good thing we laid the smack down on the British way back when. Or we would not have an excuse for fireworks. Happy 4th all.

    Public Enemies

it is my next "gonna see it on DVD movie" LOL
  22. I love me some Gatlinburg and GSMNP. But oddly enough I don't think i have ever been on the Dragon. You could not pay me to ride it on a bike. The freak show in town is the real entertainment.
  23. good old Budweiser, the King of Beers. Ou of a can of course.
  24. If you really need to know TJ I can make some inquiries for you. I know some people that know some people, yanno? Personally If I needed an attorney for anything I would call Greg Isaacs.
  25. foister we carry a San Antonio Muscadine. Off the top of my head I am not sure which stores that are carrying it up in JC. I am sure there are some though. I recommend One Stop Package Store there. They have a big store and carry many labels of wine. If you guys like sweet wine give San Antonio Cardinale a try. It is far and away our best seller of any sweet wines. I think it is less than 9 buck a bottle retail and pretty much any store you go to will carry it. Drink it cold. You also get the health benefits that comes with red wine with the Cardinale.
