  1. He does make one valid point. Everyone who was going out to eat at restaurants and bars before July 14 was doing so unarmed. And from what I read here Tennesseeans are a restaurant eating out bunch of people. Now that the spineless legislature passed a law that businesses can opt out of we all seem to be in an uproar if they choose to do so. I dunno, I can kind of see his point in this.
  2. nice, so like I asked
  3. how you do that?
  4. unless the thirty round mags are USGI you will probably have issues with them. I have two of them and sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. IMHO you would be better off buying USGI 15 round mags. They are readily available on the internet for around 20 bucks, maybe less. I am glad you are gonna shoot it
  5. sometimes it is best to leave well enough alone
  6. I was suprised Punisher and you were not in the hot tub.
  7. okay, thats funny And why no pics of the other 99 knives?
  8. that is a video of a sausage fest as much as a video of him jumping out of the pool
  9. years ago I met them at the Flora-Bama, took turns buying drinks with them
  10. you all be careful with ammo coming back at you. The target looks like a real nice set up. certainly better than what I had holding up my steel plate. We shot mainly surplus ammo at 125 yards, the bullets were exploding when they hit the plate. There was busted up bullets all over the ground in front of the plate. I think the 7.62X54r rounds were leaving craters, and the 7.62X39 and assorted pistol rounds were hardly even scratching the plate. Of couse the x54 was steel core, the x39 were not.
  11. I totally agree, the dang sign should have to be posted right on the door. Kind of funny that the no smoking signs are right on the front doors, but the no guns thing is posted where you have to hunt to find it.
  12. if you have lead coming back at you something is wrong.
  13. My SP101 which sports a Hogue grip or the single stack 1911, either one is perfection for me. Anything else is a trade off.
  14. Ralph Briscoe that is a bunch of bull****. No one is entitled to anything, certainly not health insurance and certainly not on someone elses dime. The gov't is not in place to hand hold and be our nanny, though it seems you believe that is so. if you want something, work for it. If you are poor and sick, well I am sorry but you are not entitled to health care paid for by me. Old people get sick and die, that is a fact of life. It has gone on forever. I pay into SS, there damn well better be something there for me when I apply. People on the gov't tit pay nothing, therefore they deserve nothing. Thats the long and short of it.
  15. maybe they need to post it twice to show the bad guys they are serious about it
  16. I really do call BS on hooters being posted that night. I don't think they posted it until the next day. I searched high and low for signage when I walked in and on subsequent trips back outside to look for other attendees. The wings were good anyway.
  17. that was Motasycos ammo, LOL. I need more of my own..... must resist..... must resist.... I can't hear you I can't hear you I can't hear you, lalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalala I can't hear you
  18. must resist........ must resist........must resist........ purchasing more Mosin ammo....... Bad debit card, down boy, resistance weakining....... must resist........
  19. we could have used you on that can Daniel, that or a bigger prybar, LOL i want to get one of them and see if I can open it by myself.
  20. I had a heat mirage coming off of mine. The steel plate looks like the moon
  21. I think BBC shot two or three mag loads though it. She is tougher than me, I ain't shooting without Nancy.
  22. yep another big time had by all. The weather was outstanding, that in itself made it enjoyable to spend the day slinging lead. Got to hang to with some fun people, and had lots of laughs, lots. It doesn't get much better. Seemed to pretty much be a day dominated by eastern block firearms. I think I saw some Mosin Nagants, a Yugo SKS, a Yugo Mauser, an AK, a Hungarian auto pistol, a Croat XD, are CZ's eastern? Ammo was well represented by Russia, Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary and Yugoslavia. There was a mess of USA steel and lead in attendance too. it is always an occassion when I get to fire a gun I have never shot before. Todays gun was a Carcano rifle, thanks to Motasyco, it was like being in a warehouse, sorta. Best quote in bad taste while handling the Carcano was " where is the parade?" ( or something to that effect) I ain't telling on who said that. Anyway it is a nice shooter with a smooth action. We attempted to beat the snot out of a inch thick steel plate, and we had very little success doing so. I counted somewhere around 200 craters on that thing. And no telling how many 22's bounced off of it. Garufa exploded a piece of rebar twice with direct hits at 125 arshins (yards to you capitalists ) I am sure we will do it again sometimes soon.
  23. I would be the one doing the fondling of the guy in the gray shirt. Can't even imagine how you get one them open with out a big ass piece of rebar to pry on it with.
