  1. yes I do And I am guessing i do know where every liquor store from Crossville to Bristol is.
  2. how do you dig half a hole?
  3. it caught on pretty well in the wine and spirits business The reason is because there was no choice. Offer people a choice and more often than not they will stick with the tried and true method they are used to. If the gov't was serious about converting to metric back then it could have been done by not offering a choice to stay in the existing way of measuring. That is where they screwed up. I also remember old Riverfront Stadium in Cincinnati have metric measurements along with feet on the outfield fence.
  4. and I participated
  5. stupidest thread ever
  6. I ain't holding that plate anymore, its a wonder you have not shot me yet. Then I could change my name to "Ohshot" I have used Ga Arms cowboy loads out of my converted '58 Remington. They suck. Cowboy loads from Winchester and Goex worked fine. Accuracy was acceptable. Don't know the difference.
  7. never heard that one before, not arguing mind you, just never heard that claim about anything Norinco
  8. either an address or reference in relation to a liquor store
  9. thats funny, actually that was what I immediately thought of about one sentence into your post. Septic tank has two lids so there are options. Something built into the side of a hill would be good too.
  10. I get a hoot out of the Comcast commercial, where it appears as an advertising meeting. The guy mentions one million adp. Says "oops someone leveled the playing field" then does a subtle little head twitch. It kills me every time.
  11. street address would be helpful
  12. Demos writes look to me that you all are good to go there.
  13. the rifles advertised are 60 + year old battle rifles. What are you looking for when they advertise 100 bucks as a selling price? I have seen many $100 m44's that aside from some dings and dents on the wood look like they were never issued. If I wanted one, I would pick one of Wideners offerings up in a heart beat. And to add, I saw a Chinese version of a M44 for $95 bucks out the door at the least guns show, it was missing the bayonet.
  14. if someone with an HCP is armed and drinks alcohol they no longer are in possession of a valid HCP. I am not sure how the restaurant is liable for this action. It would be the same as serving someone who has a gun and no HCP to begin with.
  15. guns shows that suck are still better than no guns shows. I have not really seen a gun show in Knoxville that sucked. Some were just better than others.
  16. better than the other option
  17. credit card companies make a fortune off of fees that retailers pay for accepting your cards. They seriously do not hold paying interest over anyones head. The interest is a bonus.
  18. hex says it is the same thing. Not allowed to possess the gun. That is the bottom line. I do not differentiate the why's in the matter. I refuse to not live life because of a gun. If I want to go somewhere or eat somewhere I will, if the gun is not welcome then it can stay behind. If I feel I must have a gun to go somewhere, I am not going anyway.
  19. Bama fans always living in the past.
  20. I dunno about the Illinois thing, there is the FOID card to consider. I do notbelieve a person can be in that state and have a gun with them period without that card. Anyway, Illinois aside, one can lend a gun to someone from another state. That is legal.
  21. Rick you might want to take the phone number out of your post too, it is quoted. And I might have known Punisher is from midtown with tranny's in the area, heck you probably can't get him out of there now. Bkelm is planning to move there now as well.
  22. i think the odd bolt is a feature in laminated Mosin Nagant stocks. Definitely get the Nancy Pad. best 15 bucks you can spend. On closer inspection it looks like it is missing the upper part of the forestock. Not that it matters really. As long as you like shooting it, and like it you did good.
  23. I see what you are saying. I understand the line of thought. One thing I won't do, that is become such a gun nazi that I will refuse to go places or participate in the parts of life where my handgun is not welcome. I can't have my gun in the Smoky's but I really enjoy going there. I am still going to go. I like Hooter's chicken wings. They say no guns, but I am still going to go once in a while. But also to each his own. I fully respect those that feel put upon over this thing. I blame the law makers for passing a chicken scratch bill that allows someone to pick and choose if they will follow a law or not. It is a tough decision, really it is.
  24. he is not going to hurt anything with properly loaded BP rounds, just it makes a mess and there is no sense in it.
  25. awesome stuff. I was shooting my Mosin and SKS this past weekend. Lots of fun. Your M44 looks like it is missing barrel bands Where did you get it?
