  1. I am very torn between leaving it sit until the rest it about gone, or to open it up and smell the sweet smell that is Czech ammunition. If the dang thing was not near impossible to do by myself I might have opened it already, LOL
  2. nah, not opened. I put it in the bunker. I have two full ammo cans and one unopened spam can in there as well as this crate. its good to have x54 rounds stored away. I will need four assistants when the day comes to open it.
  3. I have used a 24 inch cable lock before. Loop the cable around the seat frame and then through the mag slot. I suppose it could be comprimised easily enough if the would be thief had a bolt cutter or hack saw with them
  4. along with your titanium spork, how much weight to you estimate you are saving by using hi-tech material rather than regular old style army surplus junk? it really all does add up
  5. there is no way the 800 rounds of Czech ammo weighs in at 55 lbs. 35, maybe???
  6. I don't care what, but catfish plain old sucks. Does not matter how it is fixed. If you want fish get Cod.
  7. i just sent this entire thread to the white house. You are all in a lot of trouble

    Keychains

no pic, but 6 keys on a ring with a monkey fist. No other crappola. I used to have a lug nut from the 24 truck on the ring but i took it off. In less than a month I will get rid of two keys, they go to the old warehouse. I like to keep it simple. The monkey fist makes it really easy to pull the keys out of my pocket.
  9. I would let someone plug it once with a .50 to see if it would penetrate or not. .30 cal is not doing it for sure.
  10. a case of surplus Czech ammo weighs in at 55 pounds for shipping purposes
  11. it is not that disgusting
  12. I will never understand why people feel entitled to anything. If you want something then work and pay for it. If you work and can't get it still then tough titties. Life is not fair. The gov't is not my nanny, and I want nothing from it.
  13. Harvey Korman was truly an oustanding comedian.
  14. how do you know this?
  15. kinda like opening a mayonaise pack.
  16. no not great
  17. ^^^^ edited and made it clearer
  18. Mosin Nagant approved and tested I think the X39 rounds barely scratch it. Basically 18x24, one inch thick. Got it at the scrap yard. It is heavy, gotta have a plan for moving it around unless you have a permanent home for it. I have no idea what kind of round would penetrate it. I will take it. Nobody blew out the rebar support for it this time. I think we are getting better. Thanks for helping crater it
  19. don't say I did not tell you so
  20. put $20 in the pack just in case.
  21. here is the plate after two afternoons at the range.
  22. thats not good for the fuel pump
  23. If i catch a lot of tail winds I can get 14.5 mpg. i think when my 99 Ford was new it got 18 or 19 maybe. 166k takes a toll.
  24. guns officially cleaned and put up. Finally. The Mosin Nagant never really comes all the way clean, but I gave it hell.
  25. everbody hatin on the Hi Points. The pistols in this thread aside from the Bersa were all part of the "ring of fire" style of handguns. cheap handguns favored by criminals in the eyes of John E Law and notorious for being junk. At one time the Hi Point deserved that billing, I am not so sure anymore. The Single Shot pimp gun was nice looking, only thing missing was a ho to slap and a second bang.
