Fox News just did a bit on this. They seemed most concerned with the worksheet and in particular with students writing letters to themselves saying what they can do to help Obama. And they also touched on reading books about Obama and who will choose them et al. But the news story reads books about presidents.

I am still not convinced this is such a terrible thing as far the original news story reads. What network is showing this? Or is it piped directly closed circuit into public schools? Parochial school students getting shut out? Some needs to remove the tinfoil hat and 'splain to me what is so bad here. And I am a tinfoiler hatter first class, but I am not feeling it here.

to safely load the Uberti one loads one round, skips a chamber then loads four more rounds. this should put the hammer down on an empty chamber. I really do prefer the case hardened frame and blueing of the chamber and barrel on the SAA over the stainless look of the Vaquero. The case hardened look is more true to form too. Some years ago the Italian repro's were notorious for soft metal in their parts, not so anymore.

For the price the Uberti cattleman is the route I would go. The are extremely well made. parts are easy to find. And the Uberti is truer in detail to an actual 1873 SAA than is the Vaquero.

So as I understand it from reading this thing. You cannot sell any gun across state lines without a FFL being involved. Buying a handgun from out of state must involve a TN FFL. A long gun from out of state must also go through a TN FFL unless you physically purchase it while out of state at a FFL.

Only let down was no swag from the Shooting USA guys. And I have a nasty bruise on the inside of the top of my bicep from the dang sling. Felt like my arm was pinched in a vice grip and the coach thought it ought to be tighter.

Just got home from shooting in the clinic. Seemed there was a great turnout for it. They ended up doing five relays counting the coaches who shot the third relay. So I am guessing there were near 100 people there. We shot at 200 yards and I suprised myself with how well I shot overall. Shooting sitting was my weakest discipline by far. And that reflected in my score. But it did seem that most everyone kind of sucked at it. It was a great learning experience.
