  1. I am really with Steelharp on this. Pointing a gun or a laser at someone is a good way to start something that will not end favorably. The neighbors are pushing your buttons. If they know it is pissing you off they win. Just let it go.
  2. the Aquarium is posted in such a way you will have already paid for your ticket before you will see the posting.
  3. why would you want a .40 when they make a .45?
  4. kind of funny this thread is here now. We just got back from a week in the mtns and Gatlinburg. We stayed in a cabin up in Roaring Fork. This vacation was nicknamed "bears gone wild" we had bears in the driveaway daily, crawling around the front porch and standing right at the front door stairing at us. We encountered bears up in Roaring Fork while we did the auto tour, and darn near got attacked by a mama bear with two cubs while we had lunch in Greenbrier. The Greenbrier experience was fairly scary. The bear was determined to get to our table we were the only ones in that picnic area. She got about 15 feet away and was not stopping. I hit the car alarm on the remote and started jumping up and down while screaming like a little girl. She turned tail and took off into the woods. If the alarm had not worked we would have had a real problem. And honestly while I had a .45 stored legally in the vehicle I never once thought of trying to get it and I was not in imminent fear of my life. I think you would be opening a huge can of trouble if you shot a bear in the park, oof. There are better ways of moving a bear out of the way and shooting them is not on my list. Get caught brandishing a loaded pistol up there and there will be lots of 'splaining to do. Word to the wise, let the bear do what it will short of maiming someone, scream and yell a lot and keep the darn food out of sight. They know what grocery store food looks like. Never turn your back and run, that makes you part of the luncheon buffet. Lottsa fun though.
  5. I did not vote for Corker before and I am not voting for him next time.
  6. when I read your name I read it as dbsweeny, LOL
  7. Exactly. If this was a contest Garufa would win. It is the same with woman, all of them are beautiful, just some are more beautiful.
  8. Why is it that the bottom of boobies are way hotter than the top of them? And also why is it I do not trust Obama to tell the truth?
  9. great stuff, now I am waiting on the person who will post some snopes report saying none of it is true, LOL Screw the French, next time just let the Germans keep it.
  10. sodas, even if they are diet will cause a huge hindrance to weight loss. Just my 2 cents. I am a fat ass and don't really care.
  11. Rock City. 1400 Patten Road, Lookout Mountain, GA 30750
  12. fining people for not having insurance is fairly ridiculous and a good way to not get re-elected. There is no right to health care
  13. No, its obvious that they are sub $200 pistols. I like them a lot. I've had a couple and they are reliable accurate shooters. I really regret selling my Hi Point .40S&W They will never be confused with a higher quality firearm though.
  14. whoever it will be, I believe it will be someone not yet on the national scene. There is not one person from the last election cycle I will bother going to the polls to vote for. I believe the Repubs only chance is to come up with a Hispanic candidate.
  15. Mine is pretty easy to figure.
  16. you hit that out of the park
  17. my avatar would put his foot up Garufa's avatar's ass
  18. I was not very clear in my post. Yes I deprime 50 rounds, resize 50 rounds, prime 50 rounds, powder 50 cases, then seat 50 bullets. The actual final step it to run every round through a micrometer to make sure there are not any bad finished product. I also wipe down the finished round to get lube off.
  19. the educational video was pretty good. Pretty much to the point. The handprimer is the way to go. I don't kow exactly how many I set off but it had to be about a dozen. Never knew when it would happen. I about had a heart attack every time, LOL. I can do about 50 rounds in 75 minutes. I found it better for me to complete each step for all fifty rounds before moving on to the next step.
  20. the Lee classic loader is great. The only thing I did not like about it is setting primers. I bought a primer tool for that step. I managed to set off a few primers while seating them with the Lee loader. No troubles since upgrading to a better tool for that.
  21. I can't believe I did not shoot it today
  22. you did not miss anything special here for Dinner Mac. Hot Dogs and beans. My wife was a total slacker in this regard today. Fun shooting with everyone as always. I still can't believe I left my bandolier of M2 ammo at home. 4 clips were not enough to scratch my Garand itch. I loved shooting the m59/66 with the bi pod on it. The pod is way more useful than the bayonet was. Got fairly decent group with it at 200 yards too. It definitely was better than watching UT beat up on some patsy today.
  23. in full blown failure mode. I only fail if I fail to keep trying.
  24. I have never been to a zoo.
  25. it only takes 72 hours (roughly) to beat the physical addcition to nicotine. Those 72 hours are about the easiest part of quitting. The hard part is the days and months (hopefully years) that ensue.
