  1. didn't we already have this discussion?
  2. See that kind of makes my point. A God who cannot be bothered with kids is not a God I want in my life. Kids are the most precious thing on this earth. A heartless God who cannot be bothered, no thanks.
  3. couple of nice talking points
  4. Finger right where it belongs
  5. I will throw this out there. I am not a fan of religion. I believe it has good points though. Mostly it teaches right and wrong and has a moral message. I think exposure to religion is good for little kids. Bottom line to me though is religion is about control and money, always has been and always will be. That said I am not so sure about God. Would God allow a 7 year old girl to end up in a landfill? Would God allow two young adults to be raped and murdered? Would God allow a hospital ward full of little kids with leukemia? All of these things cause great doubt to me. I believe in living morally and doing unto others as you would want done to yourself. Live by the Golden Rule in other words. The rest of it someone else can have.
  6. God bless the Nancy Pad.
  7. I am curious. A couple people have listed both the AK-47 and AR15 on their lists. Aren't these basically the same type of weapon that would serve the same purpose? No right or wrong on an opinion list such as this. But it piques my interest.
  8. Getting old is better than the other alternative.
  9. ^^^^^^ LMFAO
  10. I am more concerned with where someone found a box of Winchester .45 auto to take a picture of.
  11. to be completely off topic, i thought it was global warming, wait it is climate change now. No telling what the catch phrase will be next time. Wish I could have been there. PS: I am going to make as big a carbon footprint today as is possible by one person without breaking the law.
  12. Ever hear of a designated driver? Your statement is akin to assuming that because I carry a pistol I am going to start shooting it at any second. Not everyone goes to a bar or restaurant and drinks regardless of being armed or not.
  13. point shooting can be your best friend. And this is where having a handgun that points naturally for you comes into play. And Eddie is right, it has nothing to do with using a middle finger to pull the trigger. Chances are when you need to deploy the weapon you will not have time to line up your sights like you are at the range. I used to practice it a lot, good reminder to get back on that train.
  14. it's ugly alright. But considering the Ruskies made millions of them one less in original condition does not hurt too much.
  15. All I can say is that does not look appetizing even a little bit.

    Titans

As if it could not get any worse. The Titans are soooooo bad the officials purposely blew a call on the safety when Young missed the snap. No way he was stopped at the two yard line. Pathetic at best. My team is about the worst over the last twenty years in the NFL but I have never seen the officials feel sorry for them to the point of playing dumb to a safety call.
  17. the only safety on that pistol is keeping your finger off the bang button
  18. strip it, clean and re-oil it. Then dry fire it about 500 times to smooth out the trigger on it. That Sigma is a fine enough pistol but the trigger is probably a little stiff.
  19. Did anyone ask the Germans how well this worked out for them the last time?

    Dirty Ammo

I am with you as far as not really understanding dirty ammo. All of it seems dirty to me. Not sure I have ever seen a clean gun after shooting it, and no ammo I have used seems extra dirty than the others.
  21. I second Mark's list with the exception of I would rather have a scoped .22 bolt rifle than the .22 pistol. Yep that would be my five.
  22. dunno about the running thing being bad advice, it will be my first choice. Actually pulling the trigger is last on my list. I agree with pulling them in the house as really bad advice.
  23. thats a top shelf Dewtini.
