  1. so crazy people forfeit their right to self defense?   Good decision by the court.
  2. Weller 12 in the house. 29.99 750ml  49.95 1.75l   Stuff is flying off the shelf.   Sold near half of what we got in today.    If you want it don't waste time.   it is wonderful btw
  3. I am excited about this one.  Love the regular blade.     I will fire off a payment around the first of the new year.
  4. there are still a couple of bottles of Van Winkle Family 13 Year Old Rye i think.  It seemed overpriced compared to other ryes.  I think ( and may be wrong) it is in the neighborhood of 120 bucks.   bet it is awesome though.   Had some Whistlepig Rye last week.   It comes out once a year in small quantity then it is done for the year.  It was almost too smooth and light.
  5. I sold the last bottle of 20 year old Pappy Saturday night.  IIRC it was 207 otd.   Nice couple who had dropped a couple of bills on a split case and also got a bottle of Calumet Bourbon.      We talked bourbon for a minute and he seemed like and ideal candidate for the 20 year old.   He looked like he won the lottery.
  6.   Nope,  both of them have won the super bowl   I hope before I die I get to experience that once.
  7. Titan's fans don't know misery.  You all aren't even close.   Who Dey!
  8. congrat's you guys, grandkids are awesome.  Got to be careful, they tug at your hearstrings.   I am wondering what rifle Dolo is making for the little thing.   And I hope you get a couple more of them.  Grandbabies,  not rifles,  LOL
  9. worst thing about losing Beth is Carl may remain a virgin forever.  Not too many option for him out there   They should have had the baby get bit instead of Beth getting killed.
  10. I make sure I have a battle rifle if I travel, but to get around locally I don't find it necessary. While crime and a need to have an AK could happen anywhere I truly believe that through smart choices and being aware of surroundings the need for such daily carry can be mitigated.     Same with leaving a gun in the truck. All our circumstances differ. I have little worry about someone breaking into vehicles here at home. You'd have to be nuts to choose my driveway to come down and hope there is a prize waiting.  But for some others here I am sure they don't lock the doors to the vehicle because the window would be busted out if someone wanted entry. I bet they don't leave guns inside.   I really have to agree with both Eric and TMF.  I see Eric's point (mikey's too) about leaving a firearm unattended.  But I also see TMF's point about the practicality of keeping the gun in the truck. I don't like people noticing what I am loading up.
  11. it used to be fair enough ammo.    Bought it since back in the 70's.       Unless I had no other.22's and have not seen any other 22's anywhere I would not buy it.  That is way overpriced,
  12. their site is currently crashed,  LOL
  13.     I always wonder why someone who is OC'ing gets unnerved by someone asking them about the gun.
  14. jaywalking does not absolve the driver from hitting you.   It is hit and run.    Just because you only told her to watch where she was going does not excuse her from fleeing the scene.

    Store to avoid

Sounds to me that it easily could have been taken care of over the phone.   No need to go in a store to get them to send info for a transfer.   Welcome to TGO too
  16.     nothing else to do at 9 pm on Sunday night.  So why not watch.
  17.     at one of my then ten year old grandsons football games the opposing team had a fan with a boom box playing music during stoppages of play.   They also played in a tournament and music was played over the stadium PA during breaks.   Lots of players on all teams also wore pink accessories during October too.   Definitely a NFL trickle down.
  18. iirc someone wrote a letter to the editor at KNS complaining about the music at UT games
  19. even if it is pawned then later ID'd as your property you won't get it back until there is a resolution in court.
  20. turn that crap down
  21.     no it's not
  22. keep the Star and set some money aside to buy the Taurus.  Like was said they still make them
  23. actually the name of the Geils album is Full House.     I think the line yelled out by Geils at the beginning of the song is "Magic Dick on the lickin stick"   IIRC i bought that album in 72
  24.     glad I could teach you something.    I heard it referred to as that on the J Geils Band Live Album thirty some years ago.
