  1. Do you have a source for them? Probably can get them where you got the other odds and ends for that rifle. Should be about 15 bucks. The Nancy Pad is a must have.
  2. and btw none for me tonight.
  3. I dunno how you drink all those different brands. Do you do anything between different bottles to close out the flavor of the first before starting the second? ( if that makes sense)
  4. Thats right! I tell ya, the one that makes me shake my head is cans of whip cream that have alcohol. They sell a bunch of different flavors of the stuff. I am glad we did not get the rights to that crap, LOL. It thankfully is some other distributers headache. Christmas wishes do come true!
  5. Did you all not read my post. I splained very clearly the deal with mixers.
  6. it is a fact that package stores in TN may only sell items which contain certain amounts of alcohol. Malt beverages, which inclulde beer and some wine coolers , Mike's Harder Lemonade products etc... all must have higher acohol content than 6%. Mixers must have a minimum of 1% alcohol. There is now even tonic water, soda water, even whipped creams that contain alcohol. Some mixers have higher alcohol content than 1%. Stores may not sell ice, pop, cups, corkscrews, etc... Legally a store may not even have a soda machine on the property. Plain fruit juice would be very illegal as would the actual fruit itself.
  7. Got to Norris today at about 11 like I had planned. Took my grandson with me. We had a nice time. Only stayed about two hours. He gets bored after about an hour or so but was pretty patient with me continuing to shoot. There was a pack of Boy Scouts there. Nice to see kids being exposed to shooting. I believe I will do it again next Thursday.

    Im Drunk

I have not had Little Kings in a couple of years, maybe longer, but I am pretty sure they are available in Cincy. I am almost positive I remember seeing them in a Krogers and at a drive through pony keg the last time I was up there in October. I will facebook my brother and ask, he will know. Then I will get back to this thread.
  9. so we need to shorten the sight just a hair? Got to be a way to make it right. Enjoy the Chattanooga Christmas!
  10. I am going to stretch the legs on my Model 60 tomorrow, as well as the M1 carbine and something else or other. if anyone wants to join me I will be there by about 11 am for a couple of hours. Merry Christmas
  11. 24 types is splitting hairs. There is only one kind of bacon in my book/errr stomache. It is pork bacon mmmmmm mmmmmm mmmmmm
  12. what kind of fish are in that river flowing with gravy?
  13. One time back in the olden days. My daughter was about 7 maybe. She did something, dunno anymore, I was fixing to bust her butt. She started hollering about how parents now count out a warning. ( you know, 1,2,3 and so on.) I said fine, here you go. Had her by the arm and started marching her towards her room, counting as I went and busting her ass with every number. Not what she was expecting. One of my finer parenting moments,. I have no problem with a swat or five, as need be. It is not what I consider child abuse or beating. Butts are cushiony for a reason.
  14. smooth TDG ( TripleDigitGrinch) Nah, I bet you are a great Dad and some day while not thanking you for it she will realize you were right.
  15. thought I had some vanilla rum but that is a no go. Sticking to the Apple Pie and Texas Crown. I did find a .375 of Godiva white chocolate, plying the War Department with it to cheer her up. Jack I live outside of Knoxville. A little far for a cocktail, but drop by sometime the pie is sweet but not overbearing. It is a great product and I am suprised by how well it sells. Going to be a good one for us I think. As is the Texas Crown.
  16. Trying a couple of different recipes centered on Travis Hasse's Apple Pie Liqueur. Tried it warmed, straight up, not to my liking. Tried it on ice, pretty good. Currently sipping Apple Pie with a dash of Texas Crown on ice, very good. Next up is Apple Pie and a dash of vanilla rum on ice.
  17. means I learned to not do that again

    Value of my .22

I am not doubting you. I saw a stainless model 60 and it was about 160 bucks. No offense intended. you asked i gave my opinion. Nothing more or less.

    Value of my .22

I think I saw that same rifle at Walmart last week for 159 or maybe 169. Can't recall. 200 is way to high for a model 60 even with a brick of ammo. Saw a Model 60 at the last gunshow for 80 bucks. I have one already but almost bought it anyway. You say the gun has 100 rounds through it. That makes it used. I think 140 with the ammo might be about right. YMMV
  20. that poor kid will never get laid.
  21. Strick I chalk it up to people just having different ideas on parenting. I do not think I would have called the police on my 7 year old grandson, but I do not see it as all bad that they were called. At least the mother did something. All to often it seems nothing would have been done. And one really has to think hard about spanking a kid, however lightly in public. I would have had my ass busted but good right on the spot. But then that would have been 1964 and a totally different world. i stole something once when I was about 5, my mother got my mind right in a hurry when she found out. Cured me pretty much.
  22. post a pic again when you shed the elephant skin
  23. I think a lot of the shortage of this round is the particularly increased popularity of the pistols that shoot it. With the P3AT and LCP the demand for the round has gone through the roof.
  24. This is especially true with a residential security container, aka a typical gun safe. I recommend if you own a sawzall that you keep it stored in the safe. No need to provide the proper tools to a criminal.
