I have never been a fan of the Chili you all speak of. My wife makes it, I don't ask about it. Don't really care for it. Not a big tomato fan. If I was going to eat it I would want it spicy. Grew up on this stuff Skyline Chili - The Official Website of Skyline Chili Anything else really is second best to me. Do you all find that your chili tastes better the day after you make it rather than eating it right then when it's made? Not sure why but lots of food seems to be better after it has cooled down and is re-heated. Dunno why.

it's all good

I agree with you there Willis, I really believe that was our turn. Carson has never been the same since. I do not see them winning tonight. They are oh fer at the Meadowlands. Might could win one ugly in the playoffs. But I will be sick to my stomache the whole time I watch it.

+1 for Mike's Gun tables

sort of like you in my thread, guess that is different Not sure where i bashed OSU, but I would be alright with it, LOL. Never ever been much of a fan of them. Blame it on the Nun's and and my Irish Catholic Dad. Dude, its the Bengals, like they aren't going to lose anyway?

WTF, We always get the Colt's games here. First we get the Titan's. Even though they are in Nashville I can sort of understand the logic there. At least i get to see my second favorite team on local TV everyweek. Of course that would be whoever the Titan's are playing. Then if no Titan's game in that time slot we get the Colt's. ALWAYS. Without fail. Then it used the be the Jets, when Pennington was on their roster. I have watched every Bengal game this year. So I guess I chose option #3 See above Are you one of the many around here who have little UT flags and little Colt's flags flying from their cars? If so I crack on you every time I see you. No, while not afraid of death, I am not rushing it any. Not gonna see me chainsawing 100 foot tall hickory trees. Went to that game back in 92 or 93. Bears/Lions at Soldier Field on Christmas night. It was the second coldest football game I ever attended.

I have not switched teams since 1968 and yeah, just what I want to do, go to a bar Is Peyton ( bow when you say that boy) the only ex-Vol playing right now? Direct TV is not an option, there is no line of sight for a satellite dish here. My son has Direct TV in AZ. They also offer a computer application where you can watch it over high speed internet. He gave me the link and his user name/password. He also gave it to a buddy of his who is a 49'er fan. I am deferring today so his friend can watch. You had me at Bengal fan , lost me at Ohio State Roger that, my team is on TV tonight. It is only means anything if the Pat's lose today.

I follow the NFL. Today there are any number of games with playoff implications. So what game is being televised here in Ktown? The freaking Bills vs. Colts. C'mon, give me a break. Oooh but Peyton Manning is playing, oooh Peyton. Who gives a rats ass about this guy when he will be yanked early on, the outcome of the game is meaningless and there are meaningful games being played? **ck Peyton Manning!

its a shame, that gun will probably go through the doors of the gun show today

where do people get this stuff from? I don't mean the ammo I mean the blatantly wrong information. Hollow point ammo is virtually available everywhere ammo is sold. It is the most common round carried for self defense. if it was illegal I would be potentially guilty of several hundred counts of possession. Your buddy is very wrong.

if it is really driving you nuts there are commercially available range finders for purchase. I do not know costs, but doubt they are outrageous. They work off lasers I think. Might look into that.

pry bars and bolt cutters make good lock picks. Hobbies can be damnation too. Twice in my life I turned a hobby into a job, and both times I came to hate the hobby. Now guns are my hobby. You could not pay me enough to work in a gun shop or as a gunsmith.

usally you get to hear hammer cocking sounds when they pull their glocks out

That would be "damn" yankee accent

if I have to estimate yardage I compare to a football field or what I remember from guessing distance on a golf course. Of course if setting up targets you can always pace it off on the way back to the firing line. My pace is about 2.5 feet. Count steps and multiply.

ESPN Travis Pastrana jumping a car 200+ feet in 4 minutes
Mike.357 replied to Rightwinger's topic in General Chat
I noticed he waited until a couple of minutes after the ball dropped to do his thing. Hard to pass up Dick Clark on Times Square ,but I am glad I got to see both. -
gotta love this place. Thread begins with a broken oven heating element, delves off into dishwashers, then goes off in a home renovation direction.

I prefer the more technical sounding "clips" Magazines are for the baffroom. I also prefer to call my badge a shield, sounds more Miami Vice.

.22's are my favorite. I never go to the range without one. I have a handful of them, no cheap deals like some of you claim. One I bought at Atomic pawn for about 70 bucks IIRC. It is a Steven Model 62. Have not shot it forever. Maybe next time out. Currently working on my original gun. A 70's Glenfield Marlin Model 60. Put a scope on it and am taking it to the range today. Trying to figure out which ammo it likes best. Going to try some Federal Champion 40 grain lead bullets today. It did not like Aguila copper washer 40 grain bullets, or Aguila Match ammo so much. But they all like something different.

Final chapter The heating element arrived yesterday. Pulled the stove away from the wall and cabinets this morning. I about could not believe the crud that collected underneath it and the muck on the sides. Good excuse to clean up a little anyway. Piece of cake changing out the element. Took about all of five minutes. Probably took longer to gather up a flashlight, nutdriver and proper sized socket than it did to change it out. There was plenty of wire, no worries about it snapping back and disappearing in to the back of the oven. The old element was just about in two pieces. All in all way better than buying a new stove. Of course that means I am not doing my part for the countries economic recovery. We are a disposable goods society. Of course it means that I will aid the recovery in other ways, by having some cake to toss at a new toy during the gun show this weekend. now to dig that frozen pizza out of the freezer....

I dunno about the 922r stuff. What is the point really? Does it matter if a part comes from the USA or Croatia or wherever? Has anyone ever heard of any single person being prosecuted for a violation of this law? My opinion in the OP's query is that f the mag is removable anyway, you are in no violation of 922r by using a mag of a different manufacturer no matter what country it came from. I took the bayonet off my Yugo and put a bipod on it? Is that a violation?

Mine has a unicorn, not a cat. But you do have a cooler theme song.
