  1. thats what I am talking about!
  2. can we still call 'em Canadians? been to Memphis once or twice, not really planning on ever going back until Elvis invites me personally.
  3. why does this not suprise me? did I miss it somewhere, but what is to happen to his bust?
  4. I do not see anything wrong with it. On 9-11 there was a terrorist attack. Thats a fact. The shirt does not belittle that attack or glorify it. I like it and admire the creativity of the students involved. I graduated in 1976, there was a huge board over the tower windows at the school painted up patriotic like that said "Spirit of 76" Obviously a play on the Revolutionary War. I did not find that disrespectful either. People just look for stuff to raise a stink about now days
  5. I think he just called you elderly...:rofl: not that it isn't true though
  6. ^^^^^^ got to be 50 bucks or maybe a little more IIRC
  7. Thats why you and SUNTZU make such a cute couple, you are deaf in one ear, and he can't hear out of the other. I am suprised we don't carry the AK vodka, could have swore we had a sample bottle of it, but we don't.
  8. them .36's are nice ones. Especially the little one. I dunno why mine are sitting unused. I really need to get the 1873 out next time I go shoot.
  9. Like I said, the Kalishnikov brand has not been assigned in East Tn. Not going to be able to get it here until that happens.
  10. I am pretty sure that brand of Vodka is available for sale in TN. You might just call around to a liquor store or two and aks them if they carry it and see if they can speak to their sales reps about ordering the gun version. We sell a tequila brand that comes in a rifle and a pistol. Did some checking, that brand is assigned to a distributor who operates out of Chattanooga and Nashville. It is not assigned in Knoxville
  11. you did great for 20 bucks. reminds me I need to clean mine up and get them out for a shoot. Both of these guys have covered what you need to know.

    Ruger Single six

sounds like a pretty decent deal on the gun. I have one with both cylinders, if I was selling I would be asking for 350 minimum. and to be perfectly clear the gun is NOT for sale.
  13. i think you ought to post up several options and let us vote on the best one
  14. he would not be the first person on to here to say something like that, there have been plenty
  15. Gold Star is pretty good. They use different onions than Skyline when you order at the restaurants. I remember the Gold Star onions being sweet. NO Gold Star's where I grew up is probably why I prefer Skyline. My favorite was Delhi Chili, it was walking distance from the house, and right across the street from the end of the night watering hole. I would not disagree that it is some funky chili. Sounds like she made it from scratch.
  16. welcome to TGO. Don't let the action or words or a few narrow minded folk scare you off. I am a damn yankee, as much as they try they have not run me off either.
  17. Dave did you try the mix from scratch or from the mix packet?
  18. Chili on spaghetti = 2 way chili on spaghetti with cheese=3 way chili on spaghetti with onion and cheese = 4 way chili on spaghetti with onion, cheese and beans = 5 way I always preferred the 4 way and two cheese coneys w/onions. Goes perfect after an evening of beer drinking
  19. Skyline is available at WalMart here. I think the Cincinnati Chili Mix packets are there too. Usually when we go back to Cincy we stock up on the mix packets anyway. I don't think the Steak And Shake 5 Way is the same thing. But I am not sure. At least I don't know if they use Cincinnati style chili. Actually the Cincy chili is made by Greeks. So originally I think it must be Greek style chili.
  20. Just goes to show that haters have to hate. And I am not suprised that no one even noticed that if what football game on TV is the worst thing about living by Knoxville that it must be a pretty decent place to live.
  21. I think I acquired the taste for it well over 45 years ago. that might be why I don't care for the tomatoey chili the uncivilized world prefers, i dunno whats in it. Never really looked into it. Have heard nutmeg before as well as cinnamon and chocolate.
  22. I want to know how they shove that down the front of their pants?
  23. I find it funny how people still wet behind the ears and barely off the tit judge others. You could have asked me directly. But you are wrong in your assumption. Big suprise there. Someone needs to write rules on the use of phraseology. I had not known the use of certain words was reserved for certain ages.
